Just received my GTX 980 Ti SC+ 2.0 ACX+ this afternoon. Very happy with my purchase. 60 FPS @ 1440P with everything maxed and MSAA turned off in Metro Lastlight, doesn't drop below 50 FPS. With MSAA @ 2x I get 40+. MSAA @ 4x i only get 18-25 FPS. I don't notice much of a difference with it off as far as eye candy. Steady 75C temp. Upgraded from a GTX 660 non-Ti card. Card is great. GTA V pfff not even a benchmark for this card. 60 FPS everything maxed @ 1080p.

How's the GTA frame rate driving around town? That's where I've noticed the most frame rate issues. Seems like my 970's couldn't maintain a steady 60 fps no matter what when driving around.

What % is the fan at at that temp? Is the fan pretty quiet? Did you create a fan curve or using stock settings? If so, what is the stock fan setting? Are you running just one monitor or more (gaming)? Thanks...Al

Damn it, got the email notfication about the 980 TI hydro copper being available, by the time I could login and check it was already sold out. EVGA needs to get a damn waiting list or something for this as this is just plain stupid.

The FPS stays at 60 FPS going 120 MPH in the city. All stock settings. I refuse to OC when I don't have to. Reduces lifespan of the card for extra performance I do not need in 1080p and 1440p gaming. There seem to be some areas not optimized well I found 1 area where I get 30 FPS standing still just looking at a graffiti wall on a bridge next to a highway. Running around, stuff blowing up, etc... FPS only drops to low 50s but never goes below 50FPS in regular gameplay. The GPU is only using 70% - 80% of its total power as well in this game. Methodical2 What % is the fan at at that temp? 36% for the fan @ 1200 RPM 72C-75C. I can't hear it over my other fans, no coil whine, just quiet. Fan curve is all stock. Stock settings don't kick in until around 55C - 60C @ 15% 300-500 RPMs or so I have dual monitors, one 40 inch TV for whatever and a 23 inch 120hz 3D Vision gaming monitor.

I just order the GTX 980 Ti SC+ ACX+ 2.0. I was wondering about the dB Noise Inverting feature were the fans are turned off below 60 degrees. Is there a way to modify to lower that temp or possibly turn the fans on entirely?

I scored a 980 Ti SC with reference cooler on newegg last night :D. Only reason I didn't go with the ACX card is because I plan to water cool the card as soon as I get it all working anyway.
New x79 box specs soon, but for now:

This is the norm for newly introduced products from iphones to camera lenses - just the nature of the beast.
