So I got a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING, 11G-P4-6696-KR,   it was working fine and then for some reason the rear RGB has gone haywire.  I now cant get the rear RGB to match the front.  When I have the Front set for white the rear stays purple as seen in the picture below, also are the settings that the software had when the photo was taken.
 


the next thing i tried was setting rainbow mode with the rear matching the front to see what would happen.   Some colors the front and back would match and other colors the back would do its own thing while the front changes.  Video below of that.

 
 
  
 
IF anyone can help me fix this it would be greatly appreciated (even tried LED Visualizer) , I have tried everything i know to do and really hate to have to pull this card and send it back to Newegg over an RGB issue.
 
I would like to add this is a brand new fresh windows Install on a new drive.   As I said when I first installed the card it all synced correctly, now its this,

    Ever try just totslly uninstslling pxoc and removing rhe evga folder under c:/program files and reboot and install pxoc again to see if it will fix it?

    Ever try just totslly uninstslling pxoc and removing rhe evga folder under c:/program files and reboot and install pxoc again to see if it will fix it?

    That was one of the first things that I did.   I even went as far as completely turning off my rig and unplugging it for 15 minutes.   As soon as I hit the power button the white/purple is the first thing that comes back.

    IS there no way to "reset" the card back to factory?  I put the card in another machine and it still let up purple on the back, I am guessing that the color profile is saved onto the card directly somewhere

    Prob in the bios.. get a hold of evga and I'm sure they will send you the default bios and you could just flash it to reset it.

    There isn't a way to reset it. Reflashing both the vbioses on the card won't help reset it back to default as the colors are saved to a completely different mcu on the card.

    Yea I am beyond that.  I have installed the card into a whole different machine, it seems the color profile is kept on the card and cant be erased.   
     
    I am within my return period for this card with new egg and will be sending it back.   I have had 3 1080's RMA'ed through EVGA and now issues with a 1080 ti,  at this point I think its time to move on and try a different brand.   Thanks guys.

    Here is a rather odd update to this...  I left it in my machine since I couldn't do much else with it during the weekend.   When the card gets nice and warm from use the backplate light turn the correct color,  when it cools back down it changes to the wrong color.   If I have it set to white its white when its warm but purple when it cools down.\
     
    its also doing this randomly at idle now

    It's prob set to change color per thermal temp i bet heh

    So... Other than the settings that i posted screenshots of where there is nothing set for thermal temps where else exactly would a setting for this be?
