When you say you uninstalled, did you uninstall using Display Driver Uninstaller?
If not, please try this.

Also, what would be helpful if you list your PC specs along with what operating system you're using. (Build number also, using Windows type 'winver' in Start and tell us the Build Number)

Cheers.

Are you using PrecisionX OC version 6.1.4? Previous versions do not support the FTW3.

Only because the OP Downloaded the wrong version of XOC as stated above and also as stated above remove AB.
Correct Version can be found here: http://www.evga.com/precisionxoc/  Version 6.1.4 *Now Used on All Graphics Cards
The Stand Alone Download is the best way to install XOC.
Incorrect Version can be found here: http://www.evga.com/precisionx/ Version 5.3.11 Used on Non-Pascal Graphics Cards
Use AB or XOC But Not Both.

Version 6.1.6 will be up shortly with some more optimizations for FTW3, please use that one and make sure to remove any prior version of PXOC.

In my experience, you can have Afterburner and PrecisionXOC installed at the same time and there will be no problem as long as you only have 1 of them running at a time.
Keep in mind that Afterburner knows nothing about asynchronous fans or extra sensors, so do not be surprised if fans in iCX cards do not work as they should when using Afterburner.

Not necessarily, there are probably tons of people that have their cards and aren't having issues so no reason to post on the forums

I'm using the XOC 6.1.4 stand alone and I do not have afterburner installed. I completely removed it before even putting in the new card.

Both me and my brother got the same card and his is working just fine no issues what so ever. I'm pretty sure there's something that I have that's messing it up for me.

Got my FTW 3 yesterday as well, used DDU then shutdown. Put 1080 ti in my rig, launched, installed geforce experience - XOC was already updated to latest version.

Everything worked perfectly out of the box. Simply put, best card on the market. Stable temps - memory boost 600 - 100mhz offset, super stable.

Just make sure to use DDU before installing any new card and use Precision X OC for best compatibility.

My specs are
Intel i7-6700k
Corsair 32gb ram
Asus z170 mobo
Samsung 960 pro 256GB m.2 ssd
Evga 750w psu
Evga GTX GeForce 1080Ti ftw3
Windows 10.

@Mike: I went to evga website and downloaded their latest driver for the card last night. Can't go wrong with that!

@Nemes: In benchmarks, with fans at around 70%, I'm getting 72-73C stable. I pushed to +600 mem and it was still super stable. I put priority on power, so temperature wouldn't slow the performance. Stable 2050mhz - I'm sure I can push it even higher but I enjoy playing without the fans blasting at 100% lol (which btw are not that loud at 100% rpm)

Okay thank you I used the CD that came with the card then automatically updated it through Geforce maybe that's what screwed it up.

Can any of you guys with a FTW3 confirm the max power target? The first and only review Jacob has posted thus far from bjorn3d has a screenshot showing a 117% limit which doesn't make sense, so I'm assuming something is up with either how it's reporting or how it's behaving.

Secondary BIOS has a higher power target, but 117% for the first BIOS is correct. Keep in mind that the % number doesn't really matter, because the 100% value can vary depending on the card/vendor.
