Brand New Build everything is working except for the 970 in the PCie's. When I plug the DP cable from my monitor into the DP on the motherboard I get display. Intel core 11th gen i7 1100k,64g Corsair Vengance and Aorus Master Motherboard.

    Sounds like a dead video card. Only other thing you could try is placing it in another computer to make sure its not the slot.

    The 970 works in all my other builds just not the new build with the z590 board. Today I Had my friend bring his 2080ti over and the new build immediately recognized it. I put the 970 back in my previous builds and it works fine in those so therefore the 970 is just not compatible with the z590 boards.

    Weird. Sounds like a update is needed for the motherboard. Hope the issue is resolved soon.

    see if any vbios is available for you card 
    also a motherboard bios update can solve the problem sometimes

    Why it couldn't be? the PCI express is compatible and it is a recognisable device, if it didnt work maybe you have to select in the BIOS "PCIe v3.0" and try not using a riser cable

    Try reaching out to the manufacture of the motherboard. They might have a new BIOS that fixes the bugs. There is also a chance that they didn't test with older hardware.

    Could it be an issue with the Z590 board running the slot at PCIE gen4, I know some riser cables have had issues with pcie version mismatch.
