I'm trying to change out the thermal paste in my GPU, but I can't seem to remove the heat sink. I removed the back plate and the all the necessary spring loaded screws except one. It's blocked my the fan shroud. Has anyone with the same card been able to remove their heat sink or remove the fan shroud?

Lately my display has been going black with the fan ramping up to 100% shortly after booting up a game. I have to reset my computer each time. This happened a couple times while the GPU temperature was below 40 degrees. I've done multiple clean installs of the drivers, but the problem still persists.

Sounds like a power issue. How old is your psu?

I actually just changed out the PSU and it's working so far. I'll report back if the issue arises again. Thanks for the help!
