I went and uninstalled both graphics cards from device manager, uninstalled Physx from add/remove programs, went to safe mode and used driver sweeper, rebooted and reinstalled the GPU drivers, then installed the latest physx software.  Still no dice.  The nvidia control panel has the GT240 selected for Physx.  Even batman AA setup says it cannot find physx hardware when i select to turn that feature on.

EDIT:  Since this is my first time ever having two GPUs, I should ask:  Should I be using the SLI-bridge for the gtx275+gt240 to do the dedicated physx?

Could you download and try PhysX fluidmark?
http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/physx-fluidmark/
in this benchmark there is indication whether you are running hardware of software PhysX so you will see it immediately

For games you need genuine copies of games and patches applicated to these games.

I actually started another thread and got everything worked out here: http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=142112
I did download your fluidmark though, on 1680x1050  0xAA  it was extremely smooth, min of 45fps I think.  Wouldn't start with any AA for some reason just black screen, who knows... /shrug.

Does anybody here own a 240 GT? or just exercising their evga opinions?
I bought & installed a 240 gt on a 3 year old Dell just a couple of days ago (300 watt ps) for an upgrade from the 7300 GT I was using.
I use the 240 to feed a 24" display & 62" samsung TV, I don't play games, I don't overclock, (I'm an aging boomer) but do use my confuser for netflix streaming & dvd playback.  Running two monitors is a snap with the evga software offered. I'm not very computer savvy.  Windows XP 32 bit OS.
The new card is snappier than the old, installation was easy, price was $85, and no power supply upgrade needed was the clincher.
HDMI sound works great but EVGA needs to fix the video card sound knocking out my soundcard. I can only use one or the other so far for sound.
The card didn't seem very large & fan noise wasn't noticeable.
I tried an ATI 4000 series mid level card and RMA'd it after 4 hrs. of trying to get both monitors working properly.
My story so far & I'm sticking to it.

I have two GT240's and they replaced 8600gt's.  Wow what a difference it makes.  They are obvioulsy not in SLI, but I use them for folding and they were a great price.
