Wondering how to hook up the new EVGA ECP v4 and EVGauge to your EVGA P67 FTW motherboard? Well wonder no more, here it is!

Firstly connect the wires to the back of the panel itself. The red wires should be facing up. for the ECP V4 hook up the main to the connectors right below the right angled SATA headers:

Make sure that the red wires are on the right hand side of the connector when installed:

Next up, PCI-E Disable Buttons. This section is optional if you do not wish to use the PCI-E Disable feature. To use this feature, remove the top 4 jumpers and put the plug where the jumpers once were then connect it with the black wires facing right:

Now the ECP V4 is operational, it has the following functions:
  • CLEAR CMOS - Bottom left hand button will reset all BIOS settings.
  • VCORE +0.1V - You have 2 of these buttons, each button will increase CPU Vcore by 0.1V
  • VCCSA +0.1V - One of these buttons will increase VCCSA Voltage by 0.1V
  • PCI-E Disable Buttons - These buttons will disable your PCI-E slots for quick troubleshooting
  • POST Code/CPU Temperature - The DIAG LED will show your POST Codes when the system is posting, once in Windows it will show your CPU Temperature.

For additional bling, mount it in a 5 1/4 drive bay Thanks EXPreview for the pic:

Next up, EVGauge, this device will show your CPU frequency, and when combined with EVGA Eleet, it will show your realtime CPU Frequency in Windows, so that means as Turbo or Speedstep kicks in, you will see it reflected on EVGauge.

Install it into the header directly below the VREG heatsink, it only installs in one direction:

EVGA EVGauge is now operational, this can function in 2 modes:
  • If you do not use the EVGA ELEET Software, EVGauge will show you the CPU Frequency that the system is OC'd too. Example: If you OC to 4.6GHz, EVGauge will show this frequency on the Gauge and will not decrease or increase as Speedstep or Turbo kick in.
  • If the EVGA ELEET Software is running in the background, EVGauge will run in realtime mode and show you your current CPU Frequency, so you will see the needle kick down when Speedstep lowers the CPU Clock, or increase when Turbo automatically increases the CPU Clock... cool!

Now as far as where to mount it, it can be mounted to one of the PCI slots on the chassis, example:

That's all you need to get your EVGA ECP V4 and EVGauge up and running! Happy overclocking

    Now that we know how to hook them up, when can we expect them to be available?

    I like it, I want one but need to hear some success stories. Maybe the problem is people are more likely to post problems rather than success.

    Its not the 1x slot he plugged it into, its a set of pins.

    Two comments;

    1. Sell the ECP v4 separate (too good of a deal on the FTW with coupon to justify not getting it);
    2. The "E" should really "beat" just like it does on the E770 (X58 Classy3) mobo.  The front of that on my case would be SWEET, and drive the wife nuts. .  A twofer, for sure...FTW.

    Is there any idea when the FTW with the ECP will be out. Can we still use our codes in july for it? Will we also be able to get the 10 year warrenty since we are still waiting for it to release?
    Thank you,
