It seems like we occasionally get the question asked on the forum, "Why do you buy from EVGA vs other brands".   This past Saturday one of my 670 SC's died, which of course sucks, but it happens when dealing with advanced tech.  The problem is not so much the dead product, but the headache of getting it corrected.  So per Jacob's instructions on this forum I sent him an email Saturday and hoped for the best.  Sunday I get an email from customer service telling me they set up an RMA for a ftw replacement, on a SUNDAY.  Monday, the RMA is approved.  Yesterday it is shipped 2 day air, and scheduled to be in my hands tomorrow.  I have never and I mean never had such flawless customer service, in my hands in four business days from when the card died, nobody does that.  This is why you buy EVGA.

I have never had to RMA something with evga.  However knowing things like this make me feel all that much more comfortable in purchasing through them.

I wish Evga would do something like Direct CU II cooling system, but after my first Evga card, this site, and The Customer Service, I will never even think something else.

Evga, keep up this good work... oh wait, make it even better

YUP! EVGA is win, always!! I remember when i RMAd, they kept sending me dead beat version of the same model, and they all would artifact. Then they just decided to get me the next level card up, and it worked flawlessly. Thats when i realized no other companies are like this. They got me for life!!

Awesome to hear it was so flawless! We spend alot of time on CS to make sure you guys are taken care of. Remember we are all gamers too, so we know how it feels to be without a system. Thats why we spent so much time on the new global warranty - We want you guys to be up and running as much as you do! Game on!!!

Providing good customer service is not cheap for any company to provide, it's nice to see that EVGA feels their customers are worth it.

I agree, the customer service has been amazing so far. It is the reason I bought EVGA when I could have gotten a non reference design for the same price at the same time. I am just really dissapointed that I am on my second seemingly defective GTX 670 standard clocked edition. I should have purchased the super clocked edition so I could have been upgraded to the FTW edition.

It seems like I will be stuck cycling through reference model 670's until I get one that works on a consistent basis. At this point I would even be willing to pay the difference between my reference 670 and the FTW edition just for the peace of mind I would have that my $400+ card works as it should.

It is good that you decided to share the nice experience with EVGA RMA. Most people only express their opinion when something goes wrong. Nevertheless, another proof for why EVGA customer service is one the best

Hopefully EVGA is around for a long time, because I fear the day of buying a video card from another vendor. On Monday one of my GTX 670's failed out of the box, On thursday I will have my new card.

I would personally like to thank everyone at EVGA for a job well done, and well above and beyond any other vendor.

evga should just rename itself nvidia, and be the only provider of nvidia stuff. Then everyone would buy nvidia cause it would clearly destroy amd in customer service and epicness.

I recently had to RMA a card but I just used the links on the EVGA site. It took about 8 business days from the time I sent the initial email to the support staff until I had the RMA replacement in my hands. It probably would have been faster if I'd emailed Jacob or Matthew but I'm not complaining. I'd gladly pay a premium for the level of service EVGA is supplying at this point.

No, just a single card setup.  Here is the topic I made explaining my issue.

*edit* link wasnt showing up for some reason.

I am on my second  gtx 670 and this one is experiencing BSODs while playing high end games such as BF3 or Cyrsis 2. It always happens around 30-45 minutes into the gameplay. I have played Diablo 3 for hours at a time without an issue.  My first gtx 670 didnt bsod, but the drivers constantly crashed and I had artifacts.

    My Specs
    i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz
EVGA GTX 670(standard, not overclocked) driver version 301.42 WHQL(got bsods before updating as well)
    8gb DDR3 ram
    64gb m4 ssd
    1tb data hdd
    520w  PSU

I upgraded from an ati 5850 and I ran driver sweeper before installing the 670. I decided to just do a fresh install of windows and played some Crysis 2 with the hd textures and dx11 mod. The temps hovered around the low to mid 70s for around 30-45 minutes of gameplay before I got another BSOD. Could the PSU be underpowered? I am willing to purchase a new one if it would help, I just don't want to order before I pinpoint the issue.

I agree 100%. My vanilla 670 went out at the same time as yours. I contacted Jacob, as requested and received the temp approval on Sunday, the card shipped out last night and I'm scheduled to receive it tomorrow. It just does not get any better than that. Thanks EVGA.

From what I've personally seen if the video card is at fault then you'll get dumped out of games with a D3D error which will reference some nvidia dll. If you're getting BSOD it could be several things causing that. What is the code you get once the BSOD happens? Record that error code and let us know.

you should be, if Im not mistaken they test RMA replacements before they are sent to you, could be wrong though.

I plan on contacting EVGA guys today about replacing my second 670, I hope I am as satisfied with the exchange as you guys are.  I am troubleshooting everything I possibly can before I call.
