Are these still included? I'm about to make a big purchase from EVGA and it would be nice to show it off a bit.

Buy a Graphics Card from EVGA and Find Out, it seems some do and some don't.

I did not even think to look at my 1080 hybrid for the badge. But I am certain I still have the box and poster, stickers, pin covers etc.

Are You sure it is not in the DVD Paper Case?
This is where I found all mine in or with my 1080 Ti Cards,  my 1070 cards came with them as well.
It was only my 1080 that did not have a case badge in the box.

I'm legitimately surprised people are actually into the case badges. I've been building computers for 15 years and never had any desire to place them on my case. Interesting to hear others take them to heart.

Their are other places to put Case Badges on other than on a Case as well as other uses for them.
Thank you for also Bumping My Thread

No doubt true, and not knocking anyone's style, I just assumed everyone left them in their MB case after a build and in the closet for all eternity like myself. I've always kind of just thrown out or shelved brandling like tags and stickers, with the exception of ski slope stickers I put on my ski carrying case.

Re: EVGA Case Badges 2018/12/01 07:18:27 (permalink)
Dear Evga staff,

I just got my new 20 series card the other day and I'm just going to be honest and say I felt cheated and disappointed there was no case badge.

Lets get down to the bottom line. Who ever made this decision needs to reevaluate the move. Lets look at the truth. Badges are advertisement.  The absolute cheapest form of it.  The more times you can get consumers to see your logo / brand the better off you are.  People choose evga over zotach , powercolor, msi and others because we believe in the product and their RMA policy.  With out that you are dead in the water.  Price point is almost a secondary issue.

If you want to cut costs don't make the box's so insanely large compared to the cards and use the space for truly NOTHING! (This move adds to manufacturing cost, shipping cost, and cost of retail space and is just dumb)

Now lets talk about custom computer builders. They use badges to reassure their buyers they are using quality products.  Many consumers don't know what makes one brand good vs another vs generic. They know it looks clean and preforms well but seeing the stupid sticker gives them pride when they show it off to other......"noobs". (wow haven't said that word in a while)

In another example lets talk about K&N air filters. If you see a car that has a K&N sticker you automatically think .. hmm that car may be fast.  Why?  Because that's what it's associated with.  The owner knows it's not a stock filter but that little sticker lets everyone else know there might be something special under the hood and in the end .... it's just a air filter.  Also there is a old joke in the racing world that stickers add 10 horse power.

The unspoken keys of advertisement. Make your package as cool looking as possible and give free swag to promote your brand.  Get the customers to promote your product for you!

The way these decisions are made is someone says " we spend X amount on badges a year and I could save the company this much money" The problem is this person is not thinking about the long term success of the company, only the current time frame. This type of thinking is very toxic to a company.  You want a company and employee's who's ethos is to be successful over a long period of time.  Don't let someones short term success be your long term failure.

My suggestion is bring the badges back asap and keep them classy and out of metal. You may not know it but it is the best money spent and this thread is a testament that your customers want them.

In closing strive to be a company of integrity using the highest quality parts and standing behind your product.  If you do that customers will wear your logo and promote your brand for free with pride!

Thank you for your time!

That was a very long post to say you wanted a case badge, lol.

Contact support and I am sure they will send one to you.

Since the gpu has been out for a couple of months and this thread has been dormant for 10 months today, I would assume that a case badge isn’t top priority for a majority of gamers these days.

Case badges do not prove value at all. Look at all the Intel I3 and Intel integrates graphics badges. People believe those hold value? No, they don’t know what they are looking at.

I do understand your point, but I suggest contacting evga and I am sure they will send you a badge.

Both of my 2080 Series Cards came with a Case Badge, they are in the small long box inside the Retail Box.
