Hello,
My PC keeps randomly powering off. I ran the power calculator on this site and the power supply I have is recommended. The pc shuts down and then I have to flip the power supply button off then on to get it to power back on. I saw another post with a different power supply having the same issue.
So far I have re-installed windows 10 from scratch. I also moved the GPU to a slot that was not so close to what looked like a cooler conductor on the MB. That seemed to stabilize for a few days but then the random power offs have started again. It mostly happens to my 10 yr old when he is playing Fortnite.
I am at a loss and everything I read points to the power supply.
Here are the specs of the PC:
EVGA 600 B1 100-B1-0600-KR 80+ BRONZE 600W G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model … ASUS Prime X470-Pro AM4 AMD X470 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard MSI Radeon RX 580 DirectX 12 RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express x16 HDCP
AMD RYZEN 7 2700X 8-Core 3.7 GHz
Please help. I do not have another PSU to try.
