http://www.evga.com/produ...eries%20Family&sw= about the same price as the 570's, though it only has 1.2GB of VRAM...not sure if that is correct or not, guess we will find out. May hint around to the 580 classified price.  Sorry if this has been posted, I did not see it on the front page where I figure it would be.

No backplate, but it actually may be possible that the 580 backplate can fit on it... I will try.

Yes. Also the 580 backplate can fit, a few screws don't lineup, but it should be ok.

Ya but I would be using them 24/7 for folding, plus many people can get their 570s to 850+ without too much trouble. Once I get another one (or two, depending on price) I'll OC mine to 850.

Think they would honor the warranty if i hack sawed of a dvi port for better airflow  Really though, i bet it's a beast of a card but an exhaust vent like that doesn't make much sense to me nor do i really like how it looks.

As far as the airflow/backplate concern, maybe the beefer pcb design will run cooler.

this not looks so exclusive like the other, older, classified products ;( it doesn´t include a backplate and its only the stock case with a other sticker (and this one looks boring) ;(

So other then having extra stuff on it and slightly clocked higher
has anyone actually seen one overclock better then a regular 570?
