The DVD player in my tower requires a FLAT connector type (see 4 pin picture). The 2 pin connector that comes with the power supply has round connectors (see 2 pin pic). Yes, the proverbial round peg in a square hole. Is there an adapter available?

That is a Standard SATA Power Connector from what I can see.
I cannot see the Connectors so this could also be a Proprietary Power Connecter.
Check your old Power Supply to see if their is a Connector or an Adaptor on it for your Player.
What is the Model Number of this Player?
No Clue what that 2-Pin Connector is unless it is half of a 4-Pin Connector or the 2-Pin Side of a 6-Pin + 2-Pin PCIe Graphics Power Cable.
What is the Model Number or Part Number of Your Power Supply? 100-W1-0500

TSST DVDRW SU-208HB It is a Slim Drive that is why. Do you have the room to put in a Standard Drive like this:
LG Electronics Internal Super Multi Drive Optical Drives GH24NSC0B Less than $20 on Amazon.

I have been looking for the last hour or so for an adaptor and cannot find one.
