The 3070 FTW3 card has tow 8-pin power connector.  My PSU comes with multiple 6+2 pin power cables.  Are they the same as 8-pin cables?  Can I just plug in the 6pin on the 8-pin plug on the video card, and then the 2-pin to the remaining 2-pin plug?  I assume they only fit in one orientation for the 6+2 pin into the 8-pin plug?

Thank you.

Yes, the 6+2 is a PCIe power cable (Video)

The 2-pin is held in place by the 6-pin when properly installed .... so start the plug the 2pin in First & then the 6-pin into the cards 8-pin socket
