Just a heads up, enewt:
Your forum post summaries and Google Doc summaries don't match up for the 3969. Your forum posts since Friday have the timestamp at 9:27:10, and the doc is at 9:25:42. This may or may not be because I'm vehemently checking for updates on that SKU every hour or so both on the sheet and in the forums. :D

How bad was it? I still stand by my offer of giving you my Kingpin 3090 HC, would just need it for cost.
Let's just say that in addition to a new laptop, I also need a new window. Just kidding...but, seriously...mornings like today are the events that cause folks to... fall down (it is a great movie, by the way). I am ok...just may need a few walks around the block. Edit: I just want to be clear...I am not suggesting that I am falling down. All good over here. My F5 finger fought the good fight...but the laptop or my connection to the internet...just wasn't up to it today. Hopefully I won't have to F5 my way to the back of the line until the 40 series is released.

Yup, it's getting crazy. We have a tiny little deck, 6 feet wide and 12 feet long. It needs to be replaced badly. Contactor told us it'd cost close to 4 grand in materials. I said "what is it coated in gold?". He didn't laugh. Very stern guy.

I am just trying to understand. You add people to a list, but doesn't the list only show where in the queue the drop currently is? So you only really need the latest person to have received a card? I just haven't noticed a list which states all the card in the queue, besides its use in element35 site. I am more than likely missing something.

I track the non-mainstream cards...i.e., the Kingpin cards. I don't think tracking registrations for the other cards; KPE registrants are much more likely to regularly frequent these forums....

Yes, same with the 3080ti, I managed just under the wire with a 7:29 stamp, which was while the site was having one of many nervous breakdowns resulting in few people getting in before 7:30, but can't remember, think I was in the second drop and got the card...managed 9:24 for the 3070ti so hoping my luck holds out and I can drop a new card in my son's machine.

I am biased, but I prefer somebody to give an entry a once over before it gets posted as evidence of the then-current status of a given queue. I didn't frequent the mainstream spreadsheets for the same reason.

Well, this didn't work out well for me -- I was trying between 9 and 9:30 and never got through -- multiple failures / site down. Then I had to leave for my daughters graduation -- I tried there when they were reading all the last names with A-C on my phone but kept getting errors. So my notify is 1 pm for the HC -- I'm out of the running. At least I have a 3080 Ti FTW3 that should be getting called in the next week or two!
I was thinking that maybe nobody was getting into the queue at 9 but there are enough reports that I think even if I was home and trying I wouldn't have gotten a good spot.

Yeah at least the spreadsheets could show you the giant swath of people that were "skipped over" to let you know that something is fishy with the false entry. The website now has some nice elements but not being able to see the notify times/names on the list ahead of you like the sheets did makes noticing that misinformation a bit more difficult. The good part of course is people will readily let the site runner(s) know when something is amiss when they see their notify hasn't pinged yet.

I see so many bummed people about not getting a good time on the HC cards but how many realistically would switch their entire setup to custom watercooled to run it.... thats why i didnt throw my name in. Why waste a spot for the people that need it. I bet 90% dont who queued up

there isn't anything fishy going on tho, some people are faster and better at navigating websites than the average consumer. that's it. no dark magic. if you put in a small amount of effort at your favorite search engine, you can find tips to improve your ability to get in the queue earlier. people buying more than one card could be...scalping, mining, buying for friends who can't sit online and hunt cards all day at work, and the list goes on.
