You may very well be correct though - just not necessarily as an obvious determination as you may have assumed.

Fair point.  Definitely some anecdotal bias on my part.  Hopefully our remaining wait will be shorter than we anticipate.

The -KL version was available in stock starting Apr/20/2022, and other people recently reported the -KR version coming in their queues.  Also, when did your buddy sign up for the card?  The MyNotifies page will tell them, and the information should look like this:

It seems like it's gone in stock for queued people a handful of times the past week. Painful irony my moron self queued for the 3895-KR instead a year ago and the 3897-KR is the one I actually want ha.

Welp, looks like the SEC fined Nvidia $5.5 million for inadequate disclosure of sales to cryptominers.

This would make a great apolitical story for the top of the queue summary.

1600W minimum lol. More than one PSU if you're going to clock everything up, and you may end up tripping your house fuse if this is all running off one standard outlet/circuit.

Best bet is to run 2 PSUs, , EVGA has a 2 K psu in development, thinking we will see a new PSU models this late summer  with 12 pin VGA ports native, just just guessing at this point but I did see an EVGA 2 k PSU in one of Vince's photos of the KPE Ti.

I got a titanium 1600 watt for 233 + tax  with free shipping and a free power connector. total paid was 249 with a 1.5 % cc discount and I don't have to pay until the month of December.
 
I used ENEWT code for a 26 dollar discount

Unless I am mistaken I still think it would work.

3090 Ti can do a LOT more than 450W, and some newer CPUs are hitting 250W easily.. If you're not overclocking, then fine, as I've already said, 1600W no worries, particularly for a single 3090 Ti, but I'm guessing most people spending large on a 3090 Ti (or 2 x 3090 Ti in this case) are going to want to make the most of that GPU capability and overclock it. Multiple people are hitting 600W+ with the 3090Ti, some using custom BIOS are hitting much higher than that - on one card. With 2 cards like that, and presumably a heavily clocked CPU as well, 1600W is not going to cut it, not if the user is wanting to push it. There are voltage spikes to account for too.
 
Again, for daily use at spec, sure. I'm just repeating myself here, not sure what the point is you're trying to make now. Definitely that 1600T2 is an amazing deal.

2x 3090 kingpins on the xoc vbios with manual voltage increases need 2 PSU's to overclock. I wouldn't waste my time trying to assemble a case build with SLI 3090 Ti's and a single 1600W PSU.
