This seems to be good news on the price front. As I understand it, there is/was a 25% tariff on GPUs from China. I think EVGA modestly increased prices after a short time.

It’s odd that the 3090 ftw3 is available, but the hc version still hasn’t moved que position in almost 8 months.
I don't think it is that odd...EVGA said from the beginning that the HCs would be in short supply. I stupidly didn't listen...and am still waiting for the 3090 KPE HC.
you gonna try your luck in the 3090 Ti KPE queue should one pop up in the coming weeks?
Yes, at this point, if that pops up...I will queue for it. The amphibians need a 30 series KPE HC.

This tariff thing might not have the impact we anticipated. The brand we are familiar with like ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and EVGA, their GPUs are mostly manufactured in Taiwan, some of the MotherBoard manufactured at mainland China. So the 25% tariff on GPUs from China really might just be an excuse for them to raise the price.
As I recall back in the December 2020 timeframe, the tariffs were part of the consideration re raising the 30 series prices. I doubt we will see a drop in price now, but it is good to see that some tariffs are being rolled back, regardless of whether we see immediate benefit.

Well, Thor apparently abandoned us today. Frankly, with six or seven consistently "in stock" SKUs, I don't blame him. The 3657 has been "in stock" for the majority of the day, so there is at least a lower priced option among the current inventory. According to my linear estimates, assuming you signed up at 02/01/2021 7:30:00, you might get your card by 10/27/2022 23:11:31. Though my confidence is low since it hasn't reported any drops in 21 weeks.

I still have four b stock 1080 ti hybrids they have worked for about four years with no down time to speak of. I will be watching for b stock 3090s but just hybrids.

The b stock 1080ti hybrids were about 599 in summer 2018.
they were a great deal.
If I could get the 3090 xc3 hybrid for 1500 as a b stock I would take it.
My usage patterns are easy on cards.
60% power 24/7/365 is very easy on these cards.

If I can afford it at the time I get the notice. since I don't come to these forums and watch evga like a brain washed groopie. I've seen people that joined into the current queue system and have gotten a card. which is somewhat underhanded on evga's part.
I just want to play video games and actually put the graphic settings at more then low.

Yeah. 3881 hasn't moved at all in 30 weeks, and only moved 1 day, 4 hours, 48 minutes and 14 seconds since its first report. It is on my secondary graph of "SKUs stuck in September 2020".

I just had a thought: If the 3090 Ti does launch next week AND among its SKUs is a K|NGP|N model, what is the over/under on how many 3090 KPEs hit the resale market? I would guess north of 50 within the first week it starts shipping.

There are Associates Codes that give people discounts on products. Enewt has one, so does kram36
