Got my notify for the EVGA RTX 3080 FTW Ultra. Bought it. Might try doing a step-up to the 12GB model. I'll think about it.

For the curious: Upgrading from an EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW-something. That'll be going into my boy's PC. The GTX 970 in that PC will be going into my VMware host, pass-throughed to my Plex VM for transcoding purposes.

Has 3885-KL or 3881-KL moved at all? I've been in queue since January 2021 and nothing so far.

The 3885-KL dropped today, but the reported movement was in hours...not days.  It is still stuck back on September 21, 2020.  The 3881 is stuck on 9/16/2020, the day before the 3881 officially launched (it's product page was put up early as a test...and folks clicked the "auto-notify" button then).

Thor's Day is in the books, as are 1999 pages of the EVGA thread on the 30 Series queue (what an inauspicious milestone). If you had asked me back on October 5, 2020, when the thread first started whether it would still be relevant almost one and a half years later...that never would have crossed my mind. Silly naïve amphibian. 
 
Regardless, here we are...let's make the best of it. Pass around some virtual s'mores, put another log in the fire pit and let's continue the ghost stories...this is the basis of my next ghost story...I just haven't finished putting the final touches to it...it isn't quite ready for prime time.  
 
As of 9:00 pm tonight (Thursday), the 3987 and 4877 are “In Stock Now” and do not require a further wait in a queue.

Why can't we be like Kram and just keep reposting other peoples work just to change the codes while providing literally nothing new to the "quote" from another person.




The codes look to be have not been changed in his use of a quote so I am not seeing any problem with his post. If you did notice someone quoting another members post and changing a link it's best to report the post to a moderator who can review. In this case Kram's code ends in OWN not 9J4. Hovering over the link will show that he did not alter them.

So apparently after almost a year and a half of posting queue summaries, they have suddenly proven to be so controversial that a forum moderator decided to delete my Friday afternoon/evening update. I am not going to take the time to recreate what was deleted; as a result, the movement on the 3897 reflected below will not match up with the Friday morning update that wasn’t deleted. Whatever. 
 
I am at GDC this week, so updates will be intermittent at best…evening updates will likely be delayed until after dinner, second dinner, third drinks, etc. unless I can sneak some time between meetings. For those of you that have attended business conferences, you know what I am talking about. 
 
As a reminder, as of 10:10 am Monday, the 4877 is “In Stock Now” and does not require a further wait in a queue.

I think I have eaten more in the last 48 hours than I did in all of February. Convention meetings over breakfast, second breakfasts, Starbucks, brunch, lunch, 2nd Starbucks, supper, dinner, after dinner drinks, and after-after dinner drinks…it is a brutal existence.

GDC continues to prove that I am woefully out of practice when it comes to business trips and attending conferences. Pre-pandemic, I could go from an 8 am breakfast to a midnight Third Drinks, and then wake up and do it over again for the next three days.  This year…my schedule is dominated by multiple 20 minute naps. And I am still exhausted. But it does feel good to be out and about, talking to industry colleagues and friends I haven’t seen in years.
 
Hopefully this trend continues and we are through most of it…but I am not entirely optimistic about it. We are highly likely to find a way to mess it all up. In the meantime, our watch continues. Pass the virtual s’mores…I need some pretend Fourth Desserts.

Assuming you are waiting for 3978, that SKU hasn't had any reports in 21 weeks. Though last time ot moved, it moved 27 days. My linear estimates are very low confidence, but they tells me this: If you signed up 02/01/2021 00:00:00, you might get the notify 06/01/2023 23:38:24. If you signed up 02/01/2021 23:59:59, you might get the notify 06/12/2022 08:31:25.

Hopefully ot will get some movement that makes my estimates have better confidence.
