I was told no problem you can have two accounts. So I figured I was good to go and ordered the card today and the transaction went through. Yeah perhaps but it is ok. I did not really need the card and it was an impulse buy based on how long the queue was taking. I now have $2000 back in my pocket and someone else can get one. The card I have has been rock solid so far. I did have to install a GPU vertical brace to stop fan rattling at higher RPMs. But that seemed to do the trick.

So here's a confession...I am actually worried that by the time I can secure a KPE HC, my fast-...uh, let's be real..." slow-" twitch skills will be so much further degraded that I will be even worse at FPS than when I had a reasonably competitive gaming rig. FYI, long term readers may recall my almost daily rundown of the Epic v. Apple trial many months ago...it turns out one judicial authority in California heard a previous prayer concerning mobile app developers/publishers being able to communicate alternative payment methods on the iOS platform; seemed at the time like the least the courts could do to level the playing field a bit. Expect Apple to ap-peal (pun intended). Not sure it is a “major win” for Epic that the media is claiming...again, having listened to the publicly broadcast testimony live at the time, it felt like the minimum level of relief that should flow to Epic. For those legally inclined or who otherwise want to read the opinion. Reading through the opinion...the judge really tried to split a few children... - Epic to pay Apple its ill gotten gains from violating the publishing agreement ($3.5M). - Judge finds the relevant market to be "mobile gaming" and not all transactions on iOS...(this is a big finding and one that will be revisited in future cases, I would imagine). - Intriguing discussion re one of the trial side shows: whether Roblox is a "game" or an app of "experiences". Overall, both sides have elements that may lead them to take it to the 9th Circuit on appeal.
