Epicmango1 Ooooh I want
The s'mores donut from Sidecar Donuts a few weeks ago was much, much better than this pizza...which truly failed. Unfortunately, the s'mores donut was a seasonal flavor (Summer) and...it is already behind us. RIP...s'mores donut:

enewt, as a Pizza connoisseur, I would suggest that perhaps the fault was in the execution. (story time) On my travels around the world, I was brought to a " pizza place" in Brazil (twice...because...it was amazing...also, it's a grill/buffet that happens to serve pizza). They do a similar thing to the Brazilian Steakhouse/Carniceria style restaurants in that they just keep bringing pizza until you flip your token...then they bring dessert pizza...until you die. Now, bear in mind the types of pizza are seemingly only limited by the chefs' imagination and stockpile of ingredients that day. I was glad I had a translator, because looking at the pizzas, I couldn't tell what half of them were and as a picky eater, I had to ask the translator...who sometimes had to ask the waiter because he didn't even know and he lives there. Admittedly, my favorite style of pizza is NY style and this was not that. However, the inventiveness of it, variety, quality of ingredients, and flavor explosions made it just an unbelievably good experience that I would love to do a third time. In any case, this brings me to the point of the story: They have some dessert pizzas where they actually crumbled graham crackers as a foundation layer, almost like pie crust. It was simple, but epic at the same time. I would suggest a S'mores pizza be done like this...flat-bread dough, graham crumbles, then drizzled chocolate and melted marshmallows on top (the little ones, to spread them out). I'd link some pictures from the net for you for their dessert pizzas, but if you go to that maps link, you can scroll through and see some of the concoctions for all their glory as it is definitely a place where everyone who goes there takes a picture of the food. The banana slices with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle on top was a personal favorite. Edited for readability

Absolutely right; execution is almost everything. Your Brazilian "pizza place" sounds delightful. Not since colleagues of mine were robbed at gunpoint outside a soccer stadium (in the runup to the world cup) have I considered travelling down to Brazil...but I now have your spot on my list to places to frequent should the opportunity arise. And, to be clear, I love a good graham crumble. The s'mores donut I referenced also effectively uses a graham crumble. This particular pizza had broken up graham crackers...and other than passing enewt jr.'s test ("It tasted ok, Daddy"), there is nothing to recommend it.

Yeah, I wouldn't feel comfortable just wandering certain parts of Brazil (or any country), but Sao Jose Dos Campos felt safer than Boston, NYC, Syracuse, or Nashville by a good stretch (just to pick some cities). The whole city seems to run off employees of Embraer. Now that I don't make airplane parts anymore, I suspect I'll never have another trip down there. As an example of "felt safer", our group got stopped by what looked like a homeless man and his super scruffy dog while walking to what we hoped was a grocery store. He just could tell we were from out of town and wondered if we wanted directions. He wasn't even looking for money. After a few days there, I was asked if I had come across anyone that seemed mean, irate, grumpy, or non-friendly in any way. The answer was no. I feel like you could have found that if you looked for it, but I've never been anywhere in the US where that was true after a single trip to a restaurant or grocery store. It was sort of mind-blowing to be honest. I was glad he asked so I really considered it. Hopefully there are drops tomorrow and I don't have to tell anymore ice-cream-pizza stories. Mmmmm...ice cream pizzas.

Floyd888 I just saw where the 3797 queue is and this makes me happy and hopeful! No email yet, but my time is 6:41:55 and that 6:41:17 bodes VERY well imo! :) Hopeful for this week coming up, but I can wait if not. Still got a few parts left to grab after all.
report it in the thread. In sig. If you are an elite. Ty
I'm already on the list. I had reported my position back on June 10th when I found the old 3797 list :P Ty though I'm spot 350 on that 3797 queue list.

Got this notification today and it wasnt one I was expecting to get anytime soon or on my daily check.
Not sure if it would be that powerful and cost effective for 1440p gaming, any advice?

Powerful, reasonably so. Cost effective, lots of choices are worse than this one. For 1440p, I think it will keep you in good order for awhile. Best of luck in making your decision.
