JAttilaH @enewt, thanks for all you do! Seeing real data takes away a lot of the despair! Here's my 3967: 12G-P5-3967-KR 6/3/2021 7:32:01 AM PT
I got my notification at 10:04 yesterday (7 June 2021) morning. Unfortunately, I was travelling, so I missed my window. I emailed them, not expecting good news, and to my surprise, I got my notification again this morning at 10:25! You can bet I got that order submitted post-haste! I would never have gotten one battling bots on 'Zon, BestBuy, etc. This queue system, combined with their reputation for customer focus has earned my business for everything I can give it to them for. I just wish they did AMD motherboards. My 30% off elite code (the wheel was good to me), combined with enewt's associate code got me a $449.40 discount, so $950.59 before shipping and tax. I don't mean this to rub it in to people who haven't gotten theirs yet. I just want you to know that you have hope.
you got a steal of a price, congrats!

Man, EVGA is the best. Their customer service alone is what keeps bringing me back to them over and over

Congratulations and thanks for reporting back. Great job with persisting by the way. As an aside, for those who miss the window, here is my go-to recommendation for rehabilitating your invite to purchase email: (1) reply to the email (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com) and indicate your desire to purchase the card. (2) call EVGA customer service during their working hours (9 am to 6 pm Weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays)): 1.888.881.EVGA (3842) (3) they should be able to locate your reply, confirm that the queue has reached your registration and reissue you a new email with a new link to purchase your card. It might take a day or so for them to confirm on-hand inventory and issue the replacement email. Please be vigilant about checking your in-box, whitelist ordernotify@evga.com with your preferred email client, and do not panic about the 8 hour window. EVGA will get you sorted. @JAttilaH, thanks again for the kind words and for using the Associate’s Code for your 3% discount at checkout; both are appreciated. Enjoy your new breezy gaming goodness.

All the messages I'm reading in here is just a small hope that things will return to normal and people will eventually get what they wish for. EVGA reminds me of the BFG days. RIP BFG, long live EVGA and their customer service.

The product page links will go live just around 6 am PT on Thursday. It is not a guarantee, but I believe the links to the pages will be as follows: 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra3070 Ti XC3 Ultra We will certainly know more in less than 48 hours.... kevinc313 10G-P5-3888-KR12/10/2020 9:10:50 AM PTYes

I track and summarize the invite to purchase emails for all of the queues...i.e., tracking when folks in the queues receive their purchase email, but I only track queue sign-ups for the non-mainstream K|NGP|N queues as I find that there are too many non-reporters in the mainstream queues to make those lists meaningful tools/measures for determining queue movement. I prefer to track hours, minutes, seconds in the summary as that feels more accurate to me.

This a much better way than the spreadsheets. There are just too many errors. Us knowing each and every notify posted doesn't mean as much as tracking what is the latest notify for each SKU. Thanks for keeping up with these!

This is such a great thread. It is both exciting and depressing simultaneously. I was late to the queues and realize I have no hope of getting in on this,..but imagine being literally seconds away and yet it take hours/days/weeks. Oh that would be excrutiatingly painful and exciting. Thanks for all the work in organizing this. As essentially a bystander, it is great.

Thank you both for the kind words; they are appreciated. The time commitment on this has almost doubled over the last 4 business days or so as the 3070 Tis reports have absolutely wrecked my system...which is a good thing because it means volumes are up.

I've been poking around some of the backend stuff on the EVGA.com website since last Thursday and I get the sense that the servers have been further stabilized/hardened. I would not be surprised to see a slightly smoother launch on Thursday such that the servers are stood back up by 6:45 am instead of 7:20. But that could just be wishful thinking.

I'm almost tempted to get up early on Thursday to see how bad it is, so I can at least get some comfort on how badly I did last week. enewt, previous launches of the common SKU's, such as the 3080 FTW3 and 3070 FTW3, look like they all got through about an hour+ of their queues within the month. Is that an accurate take? 3080 Ti queue started at approx. 7:20 AM-ish, so maybe 8:20 AM-ish? I know it's trying to read tea leaves, but I think the consensus that it's hopeless is unfounded.

Even if you are talking about just the air-cooled skus, I don't think that is right. I'll try and take a look in a few minutes, but my recollection is that for most of them, the first 15 to 30 minutes was the first month of the waiting....Give me a few minutes as today's summary is going out now...speaking of which: I hope everybody enjoyed today's discourse on the EVGA forums. It is likely the last vestiges of coherent conversations on the threads for the next 48 hours or so as we are about to be besieged by Elite status-seeking spammers seeking 3070 Ti fame and glory. So, if you had some nuanced take on the state of consumer technology launches, the kitchen spatula being the unsung and most underrated kitchen tool, or why McDonald's limited-time BTS meal requires more BTS-specific features (that was my daughter's request), now is the time to post it. As a reminder, Elite members can register for the 3070 Ti queues starting at 6 am PT on Thursday. Non- Elite members can join the end of those queues starting at 6 am PT on Friday. The Elite program details are available here. If you absolutely, positively must spam your way to JacobF's fan club, please choose some of the threads in the General Discussion area of the Forums (here are three good choices: Word Association Game, Three Words, and The Counting Thread). In other news, I had a strange dream last night that I had originally named myself esalamander for the EVGA forum and that was describing inventory releases to the queues as "fire balls" and not "drops". It was a weird night. Best of luck tomorrow! mpetts I'm almost tempted to get up early on Thursday to see how bad it is, so I can at least get some comfort on how badly I did last week. enewt, previous launches of the common SKU's, such as the 3080 FTW3 and 3070 FTW3, look like they all got through about an hour+ of their queues within the month. Is that an accurate take? 3080 Ti queue started at approx. 7:20 AM-ish, so maybe 8:20 AM-ish? I know it's trying to read tea leaves, but I think the consensus that it's hopeless is unfounded.
Just to take one example, the launch of the 3070s...October 29. It wasn't until December 18 that the 3755 hit the 7 am hour of launch day (i.e, one hour into the queue) and its counter part, 3767, was only 15 minutes into its first hour on that date. The 3767 didn't hit 7 am until January 21.

supaflowinz does anybody know specifically how to prevent crashes or be able to buy a GPU before the crash?
84 posts in 24 hours...impressive. Somehow I doubt that your question is genuine.
Especially where the question doesn't even make sense. Is he talking about how to prevent his pc from crashing, so he can buy a GPU before his pc crashes? How would we know on the extremely nothing of information he has given us on his pc situation? Is he talking about how to prevent the website from crashing, so he can buy a GPU before the website crashed? How would you personally be able to do anything that would prevent a website from crashing, during extreme peak access, so he can buy a GPU before it crashes. That second one's explanation doesn't even makes sense to me.

enewt I've been poking around some of the backend stuff on the EVGA.com website since last Thursday and I get the sense that the servers have been further stabilized/hardened. I would not be surprised to see a slightly smoother launch on Thursday such that the servers are stood back up by 6:45 am instead of 7:20. But that could just be wishful thinking.
So the server actually crashed? When did they go down? How long were they down for? That actually doesn't make me feel better about my position in the queue. As if they had people getting in from 6-7:44, and they were now on 7:28~, that makes me think there is quite a bit of stock coming in. However if everyone was getting in at 7:20.... and they are now only at 7:28~, I've got quite a bit longer of a wait to go.

8 minutes of movement on a launch day is a movement of EPIC proportions.
