I'd check newts post for your SKU but most of the 3090 queues have people waiting from late 2020. The queue will probably move faster the further it gets from launch day but the 3090 is also likely the lowest production yield.

Sure would be nice if 3897-KL ever moved -.-

As longtime readers know, I am still waiting on the copper clad K|NGP|N queue to call my name (on the self-reported list, I still reside around #111 in line and the queue hasn't dropped more than two reported units in almost two months).
 
With that as context, let me just say that I am so tired of reading stories about the chip shortage (like this one). I am beginning to think that my dreams of roaming around virtual hidden ponds, digital mossy stumps, ray-traced shaded ferns and DLSS-accelerated dark damp spaces...shooting, looting and killing baddies...all while eating my favorite midge larva, springtails and other delightfully grubby invertebrates (don't judge...this could be all of our futures if we don't get this climate change thing addressed...) might be just an old, washed-up amphibian's pipe dream (similar to folks' belief that social security will be there for the Gen Xers and beyond). So, pretty, pretty please, TEAMEVGA and Mr. EVGA_JacobF, won't you please find ways of dropping magnificently massive volumes of 30 series cards to the queues today. We would very much appreciate it. I still have faith in you (this one was for you, Dad...RIP).

Thanks for the folks who PM-ed me some suggested nicknames for Fridays..."Straggler Friday" does not, in my opinion, work.  Two notable suggestions (technically the only suggestions I received) are:

• "Fairytale Fridays" (thanks MIGeekScene); and
• "Fantasy Fridays" (hat-tip to ThePolishKnight who included the following as explanation, "ala Fantasy Island (1977). "the card, the card!" "My dear Tatoo, when each guest is paying (insert your card's value here) for a EVGA graphics card, he or she deserves miracles!" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1x_QbVDlLbI)").

Thank you both. In riffing off those suggestions, I hit on one I kind of like..."Fabrication Fridays." It hits the fab concept (no drops today because everybody is busy producing chips for next week), plus the idea that it is a myth that we will ever receive material drops on Fridays, NVIDIA's "original sin" that the Sept. 17 launch was much more than a paper launch...I think it works on a few levels. Until I hear differently -- or somebody convinces me that it is ridiculously bad (I am open to hearing such arguments, by the way), I think you can expect to see it going forward. Again, thanks to MIGeekScene and ThePolishKnight.   
 
And now, to the original summary I wrote for this afternoon:
 
Like most fictional amphibians, I love me some McDonald’s Ice Cream. The machines are often broken – so much so that you can visit mcbroken.com to see whether your local Mickie D’s machine is operable and available to supply your fix. It turns out that the Feds are now on the case. But the backstory is involves intellectual property law (my old stomping grounds) and -- at least to me -- fascinating. Wired took an extended dive on a third-party tech used to keep the machine’s healthy and operable (consider this my "weekend long read" suggestion)…and the latest update to the story is here (not described in this intro so as to not spoil the Wired article).
 
In any case, Straggler Friday Fabrication Friday has come and gone…without a meaningful 30 series report to be found (there were plenty of b-stock drop reports, but that is outside my scope).

I'd be OK with a few more weeks honestly...lol.  It moved a lot faster than I expected in the last week.  My hobby money has been dropping into a gucci Mega/FCD AR build for the last month...lol.

i feel the same way but have you ever heard of Affirm? its a financing app im gonna use to pay for my gpu, they let you pay over 3 or 6 months, interest free! evga offers the option for their financing at checkout. i really like their service because sometimes merchants like best buy will have interest free payments thru them and i love evga even more that they offer it

It varies. Taking the 3967, by way of example:
 
On August 30, it reported moving 5 minutes, 45 seconds.
On August 31, it reported moving 2 minutes, 34 seconds.
On September 1, it reported moving 58 seconds.
On September 2, it reported moving 15 seconds.  
 
September 2 was definitely a straggler day...September 1 might have been as well.

you get 8 hrs to purchase with the link they email you. If for some reason you miss it you can reply to the notifcation email and let evga know you want to purchase the card but missed the email they have helped people out before on missing it but its not a guarantee. at checkout each code has a diffrent palce to use it just make sure your wheel code is one that works on gpus as the newer ones do not. (ah sorry for the double response I typed to slow and enewt also replied)
