Does anyone know if you can have EVGA send GPUs to a UPS Store address for pickup? They won't hold packages even if they require signatures in my area, they just leave them near the front door. Not very thrilled about either taking a day off hoping the delivery schedule is right or just leaving it out for 6+ hours.

I don’t. But EVGA is solidly in the “will not ship to freight forwarders” camp. I kind of doubt they will approve a UPS Store, but best way to know for sure is to call EVGA customer service.

You can also try logging out of the site and then Ctrl+F5 to do a force reload that doesn't use old cached data on any page that are broken.

No they were right that 3958 time hasn't moved and is at 7:56:55 or I would have been passed up with my 8:03:31 time from launch day. Someone screwed up on the "commercial site" and entered that 6/4 time in earlier today or last night it's since been fixed there back to the previous actual time I stated.

You don't have to ask EVGA permission for that. Just order it to your address. Then join UPS My Choice (it's free) and request that they hold it at a UPS location, after it leaves EVGA once you have the tracking number. It will be an agreement between UPS and you. EVGA will never know.

snagged a 3070 ftw ultra off antonline, better hurry
just a 3070 or did you have to buy the huge bundles they sell them in?
by huge, you mean $60 over, yeah
came with a keyboard and power supply. The 3070 is 758 with tax.
ah thats not bad there 3080 bundles start at like 1500 x.x
yeah, I held off on those because Im 19 seconds away from a 3080 ti xc3, and less than a minute from a 3070 ti xc3 and 3070 ti ftw, those will be step ups whichever comes first.
Ill be getting rid of our 2080 super ftw and 2070 xc cards
ah nice if you end up with the 3070ti ftw its an easy card to jump into the step up que with ask its 799 vs 889 I belive for the 3080 ftw 3

Yeah it's a no brainer especially if you get the 3070TI FTW. To me it makes no sense to have a 3070TI version and not step up to a 3080 ftw. The 3070TI can't hold a candle to 3080 FTW and its less than 100 difference.

Yeah super super slow. I'm about 8 minutes out and gave up waiting, ordered a 3090 bundle. Hopefully it's a solid card worth transplanting my 3080 ftw3 hybrid cooler to. So for me, I have a 3070 xc3 ultra. I did the stepup for a 3080 ftw3 ultra, but also entered the queue for the 80ti and 70ti, the 70ti is going to a close friend who has a 900 series gpu that is failing. Im less than 10 mins away from getting the buy on that for him. But the 80ti is about an hour away and the step up is god knows when. The 80ti is a monster of a card but at $1500 when its all said and done is a hefty price. Opposed to potentially waiting another year or more for the stepup to the 80(assuming they even make them then) for only $300. Just not sure which card I will end up with.

No pithy introduction to the summary tonight. Just a quick "thank you" to everybody that takes the time to read my musings, peruse the queue summaries, and generally participate in this larger community of gamers and pc enthusiasts seeking a 30 series gpu. Over the course of the last few days, despite the dearth of drops and plodding progress of the queues, I have been seen time and time again -- in the EVGA Forums, on Reddit, in various Discord channels, on Twitter and elsewhere -- fellow queue sitters helping others with questions about the queues, advice on psus/cables/fans/etc., heads-ups on drops at alternative retailers, and the like. Everywhere I've looked, I've seen folks taking the time to assist others while we collectively wait for the good news hammer to knock us into Gaming Valhalla. It really lifts my spirit (and I hope it lifts yours). This NVIDIA Tech Launch Debacle 2020-2023™ (© NVIDIA 2020-2024) has perpetuated some real damage on our hobby (for some, getting a 30 series card is important for their work and I don't mean to ignore that). But it has also helped bring communities together -- whether around a Discord or YouTube "drop" channel, or around a virtual campfire where fellow card hunters cook make-believe s'mores while sharing salty-sweet discourse and our respective burdens of high-fps deficiencies (eating more broccoli does not solve that...believe me, I've tried)). One of my favorite moments of the past (cough) eleven (cough) months was witnessing the collective congratulations from multiple forum members when an EVGA forum participant announced that she had secured a card for her grandchild through the queues...her sense of relief and -- I think -- pride at being able to provide for her family...it was darn cool to see (and choked-up this F5 battle-hardened amphibian...don't worry, the salt resumed oozing out of the pores quickly enough).
