I am jealous there no best buys near me that have in store drops. the nearest one is about a 3 hr drive and would require trying to taking time off work just to try and get one.

I went to pick up an online order the other day and saw a couple RTX cards on the shelf of the online pickup area. Made a comment when the guy asked if I needed anything else and his response was "Well you can try coming in here every so often. We do get some canceled orders from time to time." I laughed.

Bet half of the sellers are dumb enough to use the same forum name or EVGA user name. Like a certain someone else here on the forums that runs a certain website.
Not all (or probably even most) of the EVGA cards sold are sold directly. Maybe scalpers are buying some cards direct but my guess is that most of them have a different source. They create a business account, possibly as a pool, and order by the pallet. That or they are using bots on Amazon and other bot friendly web sites.
As far as I know the only place to get HC cards is direct through EVGA. I've never seen one listed elsewhere at a retail location be it in store or online.
There are multiple folks on that link that sold more than one of the same model card. That shouldn't be happening through the queue. I'm not saying it isn't, because maybe they've got some workarounds (like multiple addresses to ship to, etc.) but there are about 3 people on that list who's sold at least 2 of the same part number.

Oh snap your legit .08 seconds behind me.we must have hit the button at the same time and processing side took over who won lol (oh derp it's a Monday I read that wrong. For some reason I didn't see it being 48 seconds and saw it as 4.8 seconds like 7.57.048 .....) but I'd say defintely don't slam your self like that you could put your feelers out if someone wants the 3080ti but don't snag the 3080ti ftw 3 before you know as the 80ti are harder cards to sell

I don't think this data point has any actual value, but...since you asked: excluding today's reports, my notes tally over 7600 drop reports since the beginning of the queue system in October 2020. Please remember that I see only a small percentage of the total drops.... Best of luck on your continued watch.

This reply made me smile because my best friend waited 9+ months for a gpu with zero luck. One day walked into Memory Express to buy a HDMI cable and jokingly said, any GPUs? They had a cancelled order, ROG Strix 3080, his dream gpu. He bought it and walked out in a daze lol. p.s. Not sure if EVGA is shipping out more recently but my city (Vancouver, B.C.) has been receiving a crap ton of EVGA 3080ti FTW Ultras this month, the MemEx by my house got 20+ a couple days ago.

My queue is up today for EVGA 12G-P5-3657-KR (3060 XC Gaming). It’s available for $399 + tax + shipping, which after a 3% associate discount brings the total for me to $427. To be honest, I’m kind of put off by that price for a 3060 at this point, with new generations on the horizon. Am I wrong? I’m still using an old gen GPU with a silent custom cooler to tie me over, so an upgrade is not an emergency. Not sure if I should just wait and see what 2022 brings in a few months.
