I'm not in the queue for the 3080. I wish I could buy a 3080 for msrp

I just bought a 3070 FTW and a 3080 FTW for msrp in same day.

He's in que for the 3070ti which while not much better then the 3070. If one was to hop in the 3070 or 3080 que at this moment you would be waiting for quite some time. The ftw3 3070ti is defintly not great value but it's a gpu at non scalper prices.
To epic mango when you manage to get the 3070ti ftw 3 I suggest looking at step up to a 3080 if you have the money as even if it's a long wait to go from 70ti to 80 for 100 bucks is pretty good

ya the step up is a que in of its self. But you don't pay the price difference till it hits your time. With the price of the 70ti ftw 3 it's almost dumb not to put in for the step up even if you don't get it for a long time.

its a long wait but I suggest putting in for que or waiting to see if some super card comes out. To be eligible you need to register your card and invoice on evga with in 14 days and then you have 90 days from purchase to put in for for step up.But if you put in and decide you don't want to step up you don't have to. It's just a no brainer at the 70ti ftw3 price

That reminds me if the 3080 Super releases before then no possibility of switching the Step Up to that?
 
edit:  Mango I've heard it's like a year now.

. If they put it on the step up list with in the time you have left then you should be able to.if say your in 3080 and the super comes out as long as you are still with in your 90 days you could leave the que and rejoin the new one. But make sure not to leave que unless you want to if 90 days has passed. Id be slightly surprised if we got a super refresh for desktop but who knows 2020 and 2021 have been wild years

I thought about going to Best Buy to try for one of those 3080 FEs but it's not worth my time to save a couple hundred dollars. I'm at 10/6/2020 12:05:06 PM for 3897 so at the rate it's moving, I should be notified sooner rather than later.

Maybe, maybe not. I can't seem to ever get through the few times I've managed to see when they've dropped cards online. I just know I'm not going to be waiting all night at a store.
