Do we know if EVGA sends a big batch at once (say 50) or smaller numbers ones over time?  Any idea when we'll know the time this drop gets up to?

Usually they drop the whole day's allotment for that particular SKU at once...sometimes there is smaller second drop of that SKU, but that is EXTREMELY rare.

Have only 3080ti’s dropped today or has the 3897 queue moved a bit?

Be nice if the 3080's would drop - 10G-P5-3885-KR has been stagnant, all the movement been in FTW....
 
 
 

@enewt I have received a purchase notification for the 3080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid about an hour ago.  Below is the model and timestamp of my notify to assist others in where the queue is.  Thanks for your efforts in the forums, they've been a great help.  I used your code for the 3% off, cheers!

from past experience with these drops, how often is the whole days allotment not ALL the stock and you see movement on day 2 or 3?

The vibe, I'm getting is they're having to screen orders to see if they're legit or bots.

While I was doing some reading on the subject there was someone who tried going the bot route and found more often than not their order was cancelled in the processing stages because the bot was detected.

So there must be some kind of manual screening process... And if that's the case then that would explain it being sequential in nature.

Sounds like the 24 hour queue is staying open until tomorrow at 9am according to the Twitch stream that is live right now!

 That's funny. It will be even harder for non-elites to get cards.

I think a lot of it has to do with all the hype of a new product. Not to mention people had a realistic chance of getting one by 1:getting in line not having to fight bots, 2:getting in line early enough on a queue. 3: it’s not a 2k price tag.

As a reminder, the first post to this thread has a link to the regularly updated google doc. But, for your reading pleasure, here is this afternoon's summary): So Jacob has called a lid for the drops today. Some reports may still trickle in, but we have a pretty good sense of where the queues ended up for the day. There should be a KPE HC drop (possibly just a straggler drop of a few units) tomorrow and hopefully some more movement across a variety of queues. With the chaos of today, there may be some additional reports that trickle in (or even that I missed), but I believe the summary is mostly accurate. Thanks for sticking around with me as I tried to keep the doc updated in a live and fluid environment. Most likely because I would imagine no one has submitted info on receiving purchase notifications for that SKU

K2 is the special sku for the bundle that came with the 3967-KR card and a mouse.
 
3967-KR is just the card by itself. those are not being sent out until tomorrow.

man those timestamp are really disheartening

So close to that 3968......is 46 seconds something they will fill tomorrow, or it this a next shipment type of thing?

I hope they're opening the queue for 3955 XC3 Ultra. $1200 is already high enough. $200 more for the FTW3 seems like a double gouge.
