So, big news on the EVGA Queues front.  Queue 3.0 Rules have been announced. There is a new Queue 3.0 Forum Thread. If you are interested in a 3050, 3080 (12gb) or 3090Ti, please take a moment to at least read the Queue 3.0 Rules. It is a material change to EVGA's approach to getting cards into the hands of genuine gamers/pc enthusiasts.  
 
Given that the 3080 (12gb) -- which is an expensive little bugger -- auto-notify button has already been disabled (after a brief window allowing uber-attentive folks to register for the queue, it sounds like we still have two weeks or so until Queue 3.0 hits in earnest.  So, in the interim, get your French girl outfits on...@EVGA_JacobF2 may have their drawing implements sharpened and ready to drop some 2.0 on our heads.  Hope springs eternal!

I feel you. I didn't even get into the 3080 queue the first time.
 
I am queued for the cheaper 3070ti, but i am still 10 seconds out and it hasn't moved since the first month of the queue.
 
oh well, maybe i will get a 3050 for our guest pc.

You mean XC3 Black / XC3 Gaming? I thought EVGA made it quite clear that the chances of those queues ever being filled were essentially 0? I.e. they might get a few cards here and there, but if you actually want a 3080, you needed to go for an Ultra model..

There's more profit margin in the FTW's for the same die unfortunately.

Yes, that's a bit uplifting but to still see some of the cards sitting at Sept of 2020, that's gotta hurt. I feel bad for the people that chose those.

I had other cards on my list but I had to go down to two cards.  It was a little upsetting because I might have had a better chance if they didn't do this stupid two card thing in your notifies.  My odds of getting a card are probably zero at this point.

I am going to keep the Queue 3.0 Rules and the new Queue 3.0 Forum Thread links in the intro for a day or three for those that haven't heard the news yet.
 
For the rest of us who are still digesting the news, not much more to add to today's events. Just a thought -- if all of the wannabe crypto miners would just follow this dude's lead, we gamers and pc enthusiasts would have more access to 30 series cards and all be better off (and Elon's brand would head deeper into the "I talk about saving the environment because it is good business, not because I actually care about it").  
 
Tomorrow is going to be an interesting one...lots of epeen-ing about individual EVGA scores (see the Queue 3.0 rules above if this is the first you are hearing about it). Please bring a lot to drink...I have a feeling it is going to get SALTY.

Haha, true that. Hopefully this system is better for actually moving the queue along. Having queues make no progress in >1yr is just silly.

I wonder how it's going to look and if there's going to be more columns to help sort out the scores, tiers, FPQ/MPQ, etc

If EVGA shares enough details of the scores and tiering system, then the queue summaries may still be useful and you may not need to retire from managing them.
 
For example, when people report their queue registration timestamp after receiving an invite to purchase email ..
I imagine that they will also start reporting their EVGA scores along with whether or not it's their first time purchasing a 30series card..
 
More queue details to track :)
