Congratulations and thanks for reporting back. I really appreciate the kind words; thank you. Enjoy your new gaming goodness!
dethodeth I guess there's no real way to know if one would be better off dropping one or both 2.0s and jumping into 3.0, huh?
I just wanna finish my 4k ITX build, durn it. I apparently chose the two SKUs that will never be made again. 🙄
US 10G-P5-3881-KL 8/26/2021 5:37:38 AM PT No True US 10G-P5-3888-KL 8/4/2021 7:49:31 AM PT No True
Sadly, I don't think either of those two SKUs' queues will reach your August dates anytime soon. You will likely have a better shot at the beginning of the 3.0 queues. Best of luck!
you earned it. In all my excitement didn't notice I forgot the SKU 08G-P5-3663-KL, that should be more helpful.

SDCA1 Every time I look at the great daily updates put out by enewt, I ask myself why does EVGA have so many models that have shown little or no movement since launch? Do we have an idea if EVGA only produced a few of these cards or are they being produced in high volume and sent to retail? Do we have any sense of what percentage of EVGA GPU production is being directed to the queues vs retail?
I've seen sensible speculation about this that EVGA may be required by Nvidia to release a certain amount of product at various price points MIXED WITH their own efforts to get cards at different price points. EVGA is almost assuredly making more money with their FTW3 product line vs. the Black line, which is usually the base Nvidia msrp.

Thanks. I had deduced the SKU based on the timestamp you posted, but I really appreciate the confirmation. Enjoy!

I have 3753 on my notifies and it is not moving at all it seems.
Can I remove it and add a different one? Or will one of my previous notifies (that were turned off by EVGA) be turned on automatically?

kanruohan Don’t understand why the HC version of 3080 still KR?It should be a KL right?
The HC PCBs are smaller than the regular 3080 FTW card I believe (having only two rather than 3 8. I also recall EVGA stating they were backordered on the coldplates, so its quite likely these PCBs were already produced a long time ago and simply sitting in a warehouse awaiting coldplates for final assembly.
XC3 is smaller PCB than FTW3, but HC versions are not smaller within the same PCB, so a FTW3 HC PCB is the same size as a FTW3 air cooled card and still has 3x8-pin power. HC cards do use different capacitors on the board though that are shorter to fit the waterblock that EVGA decided to use. I suspect your second statement about having the PCBs done well in advance (and still KR, FHR) while waiting for waterblock availability for assembly to be the most likely reason for them not transitioning to KL just yet. maybe in the future, who knows. will depend on how many HC -KR PCBs are complete and waiting for blocks.

My understanding is that if you drop a live one...nothing will happen regarding the "inactive" registrations...they are dead and not coming back. But, when the 3.0 Queue opens up...you could add one of those registrations (so that, in total, you have no more than two active registrations). I am going to keep the Queue 3.0 Rules and the new Queue 3.0 Forum Thread links in the intro for a day or three for those that haven't heard the news yet. I have also attempted a rough FAQ to try to head off the inevitable questions that will arise as more casual queue followers learn about the new system going forward (constructive feedback is welcome as I was pulling it together while handling family duties and likely botched it up). Thor's Day was basically a bust. Some left over salt from yesterday left me feeling a bit bloated and out of sorts. I need to work out. Some 3080 12gb units dropped to the lucky folks that made it in to the limited queue registration window on Tuesday (it was likely a limited cohort so that EVGA could test the Queue 3.0 priority system...I am confident the queue registration for those cards will open soon, perhaps even on or before January 27 when the 3050 is scheduled to launch). As an aside, it has been months since the 3999 (3090 KPE HC) queue has moved. It is the one I am waiting for. Sometimes I feel like I need to gather enewt jr. and a few friends, and head down to EVGA HQ and recreate this scene...but I am not smart enough to figure out how to communicate that the protest is about the 3999's lack of movement, and not requesting the formation of an EVGA_JacobF Only Fans account or some such thing. Amphibians do have some pretty smooth and tiny brains after all.... (Narrator: "True...true....") Hopefully we get a little more action tomorrow -- Fabrication Friday -- let's go! Have a great night! I actually search for reports from multiple sources across the web, not just the forums. Today's search had me in several Discords, Reddit, Twitter, a third party gaming community forum, and -- of course -- the salty goodness of the EVGA Forums. The 3889 report came from one of the Discord channels I frequented today from a drop that occurred today. Silvia511

I am 111 spots or so on the self-reported list away from the head of the 3999 queue. It hasn't moved in months. I am going to sign up for a 3090Ti KPE if EVGA makes one...but -- yes -- I would pull the trigger. And insist that not just the box but the actual card be signed by EVGA_JacobF (if he would pause his drawing of French girls long enough to do it). I've been staring at an "almost complete" gaming rig since Q4 of 2020. It has been collecting dust and, its individual components, obsolescence since then...so, yes. Yes, I would.

And while I really enjoy Tarkov...I don't currently have a rig that allows me to be even at the bottom edge of competitiveness in it. I had occasion to play on my brother's rig about a week ago. I sat down and promptly realized that my FPS skills are dramatically reduced; my WASD fingers have atrophied. (Narrator: not "dramatically"...the amphibian already sucked.) I tried out Super People on my brother's rig, a F2P mash up of PUBG and Fortnite with some Overwatch-style uber power stuff thrown in. I sucked at it. Hard. Anyway, what I realized for the first time during that brief play session is that I may actually prefer watching competent people play my favorite games over flailing (and failing) at it myself. This new, alien feeling runs counter to everything I have learned dating back 40 plus years (key lesson: don't let your brother sit down in front of the family's one pc before you...dominate seat time and you win, regardless of the outcome of any individual round). I am now questioning whether fast twitch skill games are...beyond me. I truly hope not...but only time will tell. I remain as eager as ever for the EVGA queue to fulfill my KPE fantasies. It is Philosophy Phriday (thanks nomoss)...go get your card! Best of luck today! Awesome! So glad to hear you like it! I primarily worked with EVGA_JacobF but I am confident the art was not entirely his; his specialty is French girls.

Really hoping 3899 moves 10 more seconds. I really like the way the block looks but didn't want to pay so much for the 80 ti HC so I stuck with the regular 80 HC as one of my two notifies. Hoping they move to an LHR sku so they can get more supply out rather than being limited by silicon as well. Definitely surprised it's still KR.

is there no chance of the 3881-KL (3080 xc black) coming back? i'm like 15 minutes away from the last notification on that list.

Only EVGA knows for sure, but I doubt we will see many 3881s in the near or even medium term.
