Thank you for your help, I wanted to wait until 2022 for 40X0 but my Evga 1080ti is not doing so good, will I see a good performance jump from EVGA 1080ti to this new 3070ti?
Also is the chunky boy cooler on the FTW3 Ultra worth it? $140 canadian dollars is a lot for what seems like the same card, should i just buy the XC3 Ultra instead as it's so much cheaper?
Real world performance you're not going to notice the difference. The FTW3 will run a little cooler because of the beefier cooler, while also slightly better in benchmarks. But the FTW cards seem to be the ones that move the quickest in the que, probably because of the margins, but that's another story entirely.
ok ty so much, so say hypothetically i get a chance to buy either the FTW3 Ultra or the XC3 Ultra tomorrow, 1pm.... would u recommend i go with the cheaper one? i only game at 1440p and i have a very well ventilated case, do u see any situation where i shud get the more expensive one? i don't even like RGB so

FYI, if you don't choose two of the cards and delete the rest that are in your My Notifies, the system, "[o]n October 11th, 2021, ... will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries."
I wonder, could someone leave 4, and then later delete one of the older 2 and "the system" would just pickup the now two oldest? Or will it fully invalidate/cancel all but the two oldest?

hello, I'm newer to this queue system, but what does the 'Change permanently to KR' mean? It appears on my queue for 08G-P5-3767-KL.
So KR is a regular card and KL is LHR (low has rate). LHR is designed to foil Ethereum miners and get more GeForce graphics cards in the hands of gamers. Don't switch to KR.

You can use this website for a rough estimate of the time you will get the notify.

I see in the email EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply. I wish there was a way to switch to those, or am I Stuck with the models I picked? I had 3 notify listings. Removed one that was KR and kept the following:

correct, if the rumors of a Jan/Feb launch for supers is to be believed (of course take it with however much salt is healthy for you), then it makes sense they'd be working on production now. so any rumors coming out of Taiwan aren't totally far fetched, imo
this being said, EVGA has some time to navigate that issue as it won't likely have to worry about queues for a couple of months at least

The recommendation from EVGA is to choose two of the Ultra variants and delete the rest. I would go for the 3767-KR (FTW3 Ultra)and the 3797-KL (Ti FTW3 Ultra), personally. EVGA_JacobF

As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system.
Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s.
After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:
1. The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
- Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
- EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
2. In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page at https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp and keep only the top two cards selected that you would like to purchase, and remove the others.
- On October 11th, 2021, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
- Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup.
- EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|N, HYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
- EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
3. The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled.
4. The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.
EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible.

So, to summarize the additional evga info. We should only keep the Ultra line in the queue. It seems odd considering the cards that dropped on 6/30 (that I was relatively close on), in favor of drops from last year. I guess I have no choice but wait.

Now there is some actual movement in the queue for 3000 series cards..
I deleted two of mine and am now down to:
12G-P5-3967 7-14-21
10G- P5-3885-KL 12-16-20
I was worried that I would not get a card before I died : = ) ..... I say that because I am probably one of the oldest gamers out there (almost 71)
My first computer games were on a green monochrome screen.. now your graphics card has to have as much computing power as the space shuttle.
Best of luck to everyone getting the card you want !

Does anyone know if there are any compatible water blocks for the 08G-P5-3785-KL (RTX 3070 Ti XC3 ULTRA) I'm close ish in the queue but I've got a full custom loop and hoped by the time I got the card someone would have a block or it would be shown to be compatible with an existing 3070 block. I know someone got a block to work on the FTW3 version. If it's "no way no how" to watercool this one (I really really enjoy how quiet even at 100% load my setup is) I may drop queue on it, I'm still at 5 and have choice paralysis.

My first gaming was on an Apple ][e, but I remember the green monochrome screen, the amber monochrome screen, the original "Compaq branded "portable" computer, the DEC, the Franklin (an Apple knock-off), the list goes on and on. Hi enewt. Currently, I am mostly playing Fallout 76. I also play "The Outer Worlds" and "Doom Eternal". I have also logged a ton of hours on Fallout 4 and Fallout New Vegas. My first PC was an IBM with an Intel 8086 in 1982... had two 5 - 1/4" floppy drives : = )

Nice. I have a long history with Fallout, and quite enjoy the gameplay. I did not, however, pick up Fallout 76. PUBG, Rocket League, Valheim and World of Warships have been my go to games recently due to the fact that I am still gaming on a four year old Alienware laptop (hooked up to a regular mouse, keyboard and monitor). I have played oodles and oodles of Civ (with my late father), but he was never an FPS gamer. We had an 8086 with double 5.25. Good times. I hope to get into some BF2042 and other more taxing games once the EVGA shipping department smiles upon my pond. Game on!
