Buzzsaw_1950 First.. Thanks enewt for all your work with the queue info : = ) Now there is some actual movement in the queue for 3000 series cards.. I deleted two of mine and am now down to: 12G-P5-3967 7-14-21 10G- P5-3885-KL 12-16-20 I was worried that I would not get a card before I died : = ) ..... I say that because I am probably one of the oldest gamers out there (almost 71) My first computer games were on a green monochrome screen.. now your graphics card has to have as much computing power as the space shuttle. Best of luck to everyone getting the card you want !
Good to meet ya! 50 year old gamer here. I am starting to get jaded with modern game design and was starting to wonder whether I’d ever totally lose my love of gaming. Thanks for letting me know that even in the 70s you don’t feel too old for it lol! Commodore 64 in 1983 was my first venture into gaming. Then Amiga around 87 and my first PC in 1993 a DX2 66mhz with a sound blaster 2 card. It came with Ultima 7 and Ultima Underworld (in my opinion still two of the greatest games ever made in the history of video gaming) been hooked ever since. Can’t stand console gaming.

My first game for my Apple ][e was Ultima II. Loved that game. Ultima IV...revolutionary. EA's Origin still has them available to play (I recommend the EA Play subscription...pretty good value for their portfolio of games).

The queues are currently locked and not accepting new registrants. No ETA on when they might open up again.

right, but as to my other questions, what would you say is the best "bang for your buck" card out right now, 3070 or 3060 ti, anything will really be a huge update due to the fact im on a 1060 at the moment.

I'm not new here, but I just learned the other day my PC is not compatible with Windows 11 (Not just the TPM issue, the processor too is unsupported) and I have to build a new one. (Horrors!) Anyhoo, I only have one monitor (1440p, G-SYNC) so a 3080 should be more than enough. I have the same questions about joining the queue. :D

I signed up for 3881 on 9/8/21. The one online tracker gives me an estimated notify date of 10/19/2223 :) But I will be out of that one by Monday at the latest.

Mytrenet Question, my two oldest queue are : and a , I have never gotten a notify and I want to buy one 3070,both were queue on december 2020. Would it be ok to leave those in my queue ? they are KR and I know they have less stock than KL I believe.
here is my list of notifies right now : 08G-P5-3797-KL 7/29/2021 08G-P5-3755-KL 5/3/2021 08G-P5-3753-KR 5/3/2021 08G-P5-3751-KR 12/27/2020 08G-P5-3767-KR 12/27/2020
The recommendation from EVGA is to choose two of the Ultra variants and delete the rest. I would go for the 3767-KR (FTW3 Ultra)and the 3797-KL (Ti FTW3 Ultra), personally.
EVGA_JacobF Everyone,
As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system.
Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s.
After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:
1. The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
- Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
- EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
2. In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page at and keep only the top two cards selected that you would like to purchase, and remove the others.
- On October 11th, 2021, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
- Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup.
- EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|N, HYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
- EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
3. The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled. 4. The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.
EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible.
Thanks EVGA
This is my question! is the KR going to be dropped? I am scared that I drop to those 2 ULTRA version and the KR never drops again so that is a lost one that could go to another version?

Hi all, I am confused about how the new queue rules work. I got the notification to reduce down to two cards, but am confused as to which two to select. The two oldest in my queue are 3655-KR and 3665-KR cards, but I am unsure these are even being made anymore as they are not the Ultra or FTW3 cards. So should I remove them in favor of something else or keep them? I guess I am confused as to what route I need to take and which cards are even "viable" for the queue system. I don't want to remove something that just pushes me back further, because at this point I've pretty much decided that the EVGA queue is the best bet for me to finally get a card. Anyone have any suggestions or is it truly, just look for only cards with the FTW3 or ULTRA name and have two of those selected? 08G-P5-3783-KL 7/26/2021 7:53:53 AM 10G-P5-3881-KL 6/13/2021 10:02:44 AM 08G-P5-3797-KL 6/13/2021 10:01:58 AM 08G-P5-3753-KR 6/11/2021 2:30:38 PM 08G-P5-3751-KR 6/11/2021 2:30:14 PM 08G-P5-3667-KL 6/11/2021 2:28:22 PM 08G-P5-3663-KL 6/11/2021 2:28:03 PM 08G-P5-3665-KR 4/29/2021 10:56:05 AM 12G-P5-3655-KR 4/5/2021 7:34:40 PM ^my current queue

I am left with 3 cards on my queue, the 3080 XC3 Ultra from May 18th 2021 and the 3070 Ti XC3 Ultra as well as the XC3, both launch day and I just stepped up for a 3080. I think the best choice is likely to dump the notify for the 3080 as I'll get a notify faster via the Step Up right? edit: Feel free to add comments. Regretting I didn't grab a hybrid kit to have on hand when I get a 3080 notify one way or the other.

@MightionNY If your CPU is the same as your signature (i7-5820K), I know you can still install Windows 11 on it. My friend's rig is almost similar to yours (i7-5930X on an Asus X99-Deluxe with EVGA 1080ti FTW). He got the windows 11 from Dev Channel.

Well, the PC Health Check app says it also doesn't support Secure Boot - when I change the BIOS boot options from Legacy to UEFI, my SATA HD isn't detected, and the PC will just boot back into the BIOS. Windows Update is very firm about my PC not meeting the requirements. :/ Anyway, I'll keep checking to see when/if the queue opens again.

I imagine you probably have a MBR and have to convert to GPT. I think there is a tool to migrate, otherwise, it probably would have to be wiped and loaded and windows 11 reinstalled. I have a similar system an it took windows 11.

There isn't an Ultra or FTW3 for the 3060, there is only the XC Gaming (3657) and XC Black Gaming (3655). I don't know what the likely proportion of them will be, but the 3657 has moved along further in timestamps according to the google sheet linked in the first post. Other than that, I would imagine any of the part numbers grayed out in the sheet should be avoided. For example, I had 3665-KR, 3751-KR and 3753-KR for instance, and disabled those as those don't seem likely to ever be fulfilled. edit: I linked the sheet, but it was removed I guess. Just go to the first post and you can find the OP's google sheet tracker.

yaggaz Good to meet ya!
Wow! Yeah played Ultima IV on C64 and V and VI on Amiga. Ultima IV kind of shaped my outlook on life to this day actually that's how deep that game had an impact on me. A game where there is no end villain but just to better yourself.

You absolutely rock! I want to be you when I grow up. Actually, I thought my husband and I were old gamers, but you have me beat by 16 years. (I'll let you do the math, it hurts my heart to type the actual number. Where has the time gone?) They will have to pry my keyboard or controller out of my cold dead hands before I give it up. The one thing I have yet to tackle is my own build, though. I am really looking forward to that process. I hope you get your card soon! All the best of luck.
Patiently waiting for one of the following GPUs: 08G-P5-3785-KL 08G-P5-3797-KL
