Apparently the buttons were already up & went away once their initial batch was "sold".  This is ridiculous.  I've been wanting a Hybrid 3080 since before the 3080 was officially announced as coming & I can't even get in line for one...

Damn, that's insane. I saw the buttons for the hybrids (still there for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid), but none for the HydroCoppers. Hope the scumbots have not set themselves up for the notify forms now...

i am impressed by the pricings of hybrid cards. well done evga.
 
now, seriously, what gen is the pump on xc3/ftw3?
and can we finally be able to controll the pump speed through software this time, unlike what we have done for last generations like using adaptor to connect the pump cable and then plug that to mobo and use dc control to lower the pump speed, so as to get rid of that stupidly loud freaking pump noise?

Never saw the 3080 ftw3 ultra HC notify but was able to get the hybrid.... don't care for the hybrid that sucks

Damn, it looks like there is zero rgb on that shroud.  There is some on the fans, but I'll probably be using my own fans.  Was really hoping the shrouds themselves would have rgb, as I'm very fond of the rgb on the ftw3 air-cooled shroud.

I think they are removing the notification since they are limited quantity. They don't want 1k people to sign up for a card that will only have 450 in production (those numbers are just made up) it makes sense to have the notify vanish after the number of people signing up match up with the quantity they will receive. And remember this is the initial batch. As more shipments are sent to evga the notify will appear again.

Also, I really don't understand why they didn't restrict the first run to people who actually bought cards via the queue system.  The auto-notify thing won't work anymore since the scalpers/botters know about it now.  They need to implement other methods, such as making you wait a minute or so after hitting the button once and then making you hit it again.  I think Best Buy is using a similar strategy right now.

We can probably expect 5-10 more cards in stock again in December

The button is back.  I think I hit it fairly soon after it disappeared then came back again.  But yeah I have concerns that there will be thousands of bots ahead of me in the queue at this point.

kinda seems against the point of even having a notify me button if you remove it when out of "stock". Thats effectively just a preorder button, not a queue.

For the people that missed the initial batch auto notify. Apparently they'll put it back up once cards are actually shipping. So I guess this was sort of like a preorder queue. Production queue will stay up once they're live, I guess.

Guys, Gals - short supplies will undoubtedly leave a few people frustrated and not getting one in the first batch... There is NOTHING EVGA can do differently...  You are unfairly asking for a personal notification and to be placed ABOVE other customers...  Yeah, it personally might stink to have missed the first limited run, But don't give EVGA any crap for that, the key word being YOU missed one.  Others who hawk the site 24/7 did get one for their efforts.  Some of the community even saw and knew there was a drop coming today and the fact you missed it is not in any way EVGA's fault.
 
Be happy for your brothers and sisters that did score one, and be ready for the next one!
