I have to admit the HC looks incredible aesthetically. Too bad there's no way I'm doing a full wc solution for a variety of reasons. Wonder if there will ever be something like that with its own pump.

Just an FYI My brother has the 3090 Asus Tuf I gave him and the EKWB block came in yesterday and I installed it for him today and we went from 70C on air down to 45C underload. I can't wait to get my FTW3 on water as the FTW3 runs around 73C

Will the 3080 FTW3 hybrid come with 450w bios or 400?

If it's the latter, can I flash 450w bios on it AND still retain RGB controls?

More than likely it will have its own bios and will probably have a 450W one too.

I have a question regarding the placement and position of this cooler ... seeing the tubing is 400mm long, it should be fine to go in front or top. In my case, i have the Fractal Design Define 7, and i also have a corsair H150i Capellix CPU AIO, currently, my 360mm CPU cooler in front as intake and i have 3 120mm LL fans on top as exhaust and a rear 140mm exhaust. With this being a 240mm rad this time, would it be better to have this up front as intake and move my 360mm CPU cooler up top as intake as well? Cant imagine the fans need to run too much with both on water, but yeah more curious as i have never had both GPU and CPU on AIO before. Any help or ideas would be appreciated, not sure how you all are thinking or have experience hooking up systems. Think this is first 240 though right?

I like the old one better on the 2080ti, it was simple and clean. That big red strip going across it and that bubble looking sticker is just odd. I do like the black metal top portion of the block. I had an aorus extreme at one time and I took the sticker off and cleaned it with alcohol and it looked great.

Thanks, yeah i just wasn't sure how i want to go about the intake and exhaust situation, i am OCD in my placements ha, not sure i want the 240 up top and have a noticeable gap or one fan uneven from the others, was thinking putting it front and leaving bottom slot open, who knows, appreciate the insight though

Yes, you can as you'll always want rads intaking cooler ambient air and exhausting it out the rear of the case, especially if theres filters involved.

Don't forget, the front intake warmer air will get sucked into the top GPU rad as exhaust so you're better off either setting the top 240mm GPU AIO as intake or just swap the rads and put the GPU rad in the front and CPU AIO in the top as intake and use the rear as your exhaust, especially if there are filters involved in both front and top.  Positive pressure internally will make its way out the unfiltered back.

It's the same cards guys, just witha Hybrid kit on them.  Literally.  They will use the same BIOSes that are already available on the forums.

The best way to go usually, is if you have two radiators or AIOs, have them both set to Intake, and have a quality airflow-oriented exhaust fan, 140mm if you can swing it.

I personnally don't mind have the top cpu rad as exhaust. I have a 10900x and it's now getting hot at all @4.3/4.4ghz in games etc. I would prioritize gpu rad cold air intake over anything.

Yes but the RGB is different, it will need its own bios.

Precision X1 shows the FTW3 pictorially. The hybrid will more than likely have it's own bios to control the RGB. Makes sense?

One thing I'm still really curious to know is if I'll be able to attach 4 pin fans directly to the hybrid card's connection for the radiator fans.
It would be nice to know if I'll be connecting my Noctuas to the dedicated connection or to my motherboard.

Although I guess its not a deal breaker if I have to use mobo control.

If you want to do that, you're better off connecting the fans to your motherboard and using a program to setup a fancurve. I use one called Argus MOnitor and that's what I plan on doing.

If you rely on the BIOs from the GPU, the RPM and % might read wrong. You never know how a GPU BIOs will work from my experience.

Can we get an ETA when the Notify button will come back at least?  Perma-refreshing to wait for this isnt really going to do me much good, in fact I stopped. :P

But, I would like to get on the list.  I mean I dremel'd my 980GTX to get them to fit in my mATX case in SLI, so you might say Im pretty interested in this. ;P

You can set up a site monitor (for example www.distill.io) which can notify you when den shop site updates, without the need to play the F5 game.

Are these cards share the same PCB designs with the air cooling cards? I am hoping to see some upgrades.
