In America really no other reason to buy other brand then EVGA or in EU.
No matter how I'm satisfied with mine GTX1080Ti Poseidon I want next GPU to be EVGA.
Because that's best GeForce and no matter what I buy second hand or new I will look for EVGA.
ASUS launch Matrix GPU worth 1700$ as experiment.
People throw 500$ in garbage because model is hotter then normal Strix version.
I mean how they could launch such model and cause problem to people like they didn't test at all.
I respect innovative design, but after first test it was obvious that radiator installed on card is not good approach.
People could bought K|NGP|N version. Fact that you spent same ammount of money on Matrix with KP available is terrific.
No they could hope only that someone will launch waterblock and then only negative side will be because they didn't saved few hundreds on Strix and installed waterblock.
Someone who upgrade from series 700 to GTX1080Ti or RTX2080 will experience insane improvement.

Curious if this promotion will even be cost effective for the customer with SUPER being on shelves by the end of next month. Even if I get a generous $200 off for my GTX 780 Classified Hydro Copper I doubt it will be worth it to get the 2080ti with the 2080 SUPER rumored to be almost just as fast and only $799. Guess we will see tomorrow, but I doubt it. I just don't see this being better than selling your old card in a month when the entire 20-series product stack drops in price.

Why only GTX 700 & 900  Show some love for your dedicated customers who are still rocking 10 yo classi X58 EVGA motherboards under lifetime warranty  Let me get my hands on a 2080 Ti and watch other enthusiasts shed a tear when they see their 3DMark score is below the one of a 10 yo platform Then they all go buy EVGA motherboards as well and you win money. Really worth imho

This couldn't have come at a worse time for me even with the 0% financing. I only just recently bought a house and everything that entails over renting an apartment, including additional furniture. That "significant discount" needs to be really good on my 980 Ti, or I'll have to pass.

I wonder if this will be the same discount for any card or vary based on the card's value?
I'm curious as to whether this will actually be a "substantial" discount or a way to liquidate some old cards before the prices plummet anyway, due to the new ones coming out.

RTX2080 is not so close to RTX2080Ti. It's faster card, only we used to pay 100-150$ same difference not 300$. Because stronger premium GPU class costed 150$ more then high class. Now they ask insane price, but difference is there. Not so big but difference is visible.
