Systom Hybrid Page Up: http://www.evga.com/Produ...aspx?pn=08G-P4-6288-KR So the Hybrid kit for the FTW will only cost 60.00 versus the FE being 120.00? Uhhh
"System 404 error" Your link is not working. Where are you getting that the FTW kit costs $60 compared to the FE at $120? Is it just because the FE accessory kit is priced at $120 and the actual Hybrid is $729 v $679? And in reality, if that is the case, it is only %50, not $60. The FTW is an EVGA PCB, so it is much easier for them to plan the pricing how they want. The Kits have always been more expensive as an accessory versus just buying the hybrid.

fixt URL. Where did I get it? Simple math, 730-680=?+shipping, around that amount. I'm not saying that's what it will cost 'cause I know it won't cost that much, just pointing out the price difference.

Like I said, $50, lol, not 60. That was why I inquired, because the math was strange. Like you said though, simple math :-) Can't factor shipping, as the weight of the packages, where they will go, and how they get shipped will drastically change prices. Not to mention, shipping is free on some items right now, meaning it won't effect price at all.

it's an estimate...I can, and in fact, did, factor in rough shipping in my comment, just because I didn't blatantly state something that would be utterly pointless, thus estimating 60.00, too bad, that's my comment, not yours. when concerning the US, I'm in Hawaii, I have the worst/most expensive shipping, so I know what's up. back on topic

One, calm down. I was picking on you because you stated simple math. Two, as I stated, shipping is free on some items (at least within the US). Don't get bent out of shape when someone makes an inquiry and then a joke about a mistake. Everyone does it. You aren't alone.

HEY, YOU don't tell me to calm down big guy just because you're a MOD, I'll get CRAZY up on this forum if I so choose. But seriously, no, you think I couldn't do simple math to know the price difference of the two being 50.00...trust me, I know that, whether you believe it or not, I made the number higher for that reason alone as stated above, I just didn't state it...because it's not real, AKA, does not matter. What's important is the idea of it being that cheap, but we both know it won't be. Edit: Price difference of the shrouds? -shrug-

I think one other factor to consider is that there's not an "extra" air cooler that isn't being used when you compare the price of the upgrade kit to the difference between the FTW card and the Hybrid card. so it's like the $680 of the FTW, - ?? for not having the normal air cooler, + ?? for the likely most costly hybrid cooler +/- adjustment for marketing/demand reasons = $730

Yeah, bingo. The price is good though, I expected 750.00 as the previous. Excuse me, 749.99

Oh sure, NOW the EVGA Hybrid comes out. Man, I'm never gonna get it set up as clean as ZL1's rig. "Cable management" has been replaced as my least favorite PC building word by "Tentacle management". It looks like either bad hentai is about to go down, a spiderman villain is hiding in there, or like an italian plumber is going to jump out of all that pipe.

FINALLY.the hybrid has come out and it is glorious, the added product with details on evga 1080 line atleast:p. But on a other note, it seems excact same size as 980ti hybrid and says its dual slotted, but my 980ti hybrid is slightly more than 2 slots. This may be a stupid question tho,but since since it says hybrid FTW on it,there wont be 2 1080 hybrids will there? The price seems to be the same as with the seahawk,so I can excpect the same price as seahawk in norway. I just hope it gets released soon.

At last it shows up! But only on the US site, not on the EU - does this mean the EU will need to wait even longer for release? Does EVGA have any time estimates of when some Hybrids will hit EU shores or will it only be the US for the time being?

It's typically 2 weeks after arriving in the US before it makes it to EU because of shipping and handling from the US to EU.

Hmm. It does look as if the fan on the card isn't designed to mainly blow the heat out of the back of the case (like a blower). I have a H440 case and was hoping to dump just about all air straight out of the case. (I have a top mounted kraken x61 on my i7-4790K.) Or perhaps it won't matter much, as most of the heat should be taken care of by the AIO?

What card are you referring to? The Hybrid has a blower for the VRM and VRAM that blows the hear out the back. The radiator blows the heat out of the case where ever you place the radiator, as long as you set the fan to exhaust.

Sorry, meant the hybrid. It does? The fan style on the card looks different, but if it's blower then it's what I want. Thanks.

The only difference is that it isn't a radial fan. It still works the same, and pushes the air out of the back.

Looks great! I'm still happy with my FE Hybrid since Pascal doesn't care about the extra power to OC. Does the "EVGA" and "Hybrid" side panel light up? Although I did spend more money just to have one a few weeks early. $700+$120
