I dont think no one mentioned this....they said it was gonna be this week last week....welp evga..there goes the hope of the hybrid :')
Jacob said on Twitter that they were monitoring daily on the Hybrid and were hoping for next week. If someone already mentioned it, sorry. I'm not reading back through all of this at this point.
I'd say with what you ordered and the kit once it arrives you will be pleased anyway. You may be pleased without the hybrid kit anyway....
That is true but. I have also ordered 2x 120mm corsair fans to improve my airflow inside my case. I wanted an AIO gpu so i wouldnt have to worry much of the airflow i have in the middle side of my case when having cpu + gpu watercooled. My only 120mm fan that came with my case is in the front where my harddrive/ssd and optical drive is. If i got an aio gpu then ofcourse it wouldnt be much of a bother. Hopefully with the 2 fans i ordered as well i can manage the airflow in my case a bit so the evga wouldnt get above 70degree on full load

I would suggest that everyone do what I'm doing...wait for the hybrid kit to come in and try and get it, and buy any 1080 that is using the fe pcb...if they sell out of hybrid kits again before you get one, purchase from a different vendor.
This EVGA hybrid is constantly being pushed back. There are people playing games, rendering videos, basically have moved on with life and we sat here and waited...and waited some more...and waited some more...the GTX 1080's launched in May (seems so long ago) I remember the craziness over the 1070's that launched weeks later...we have sat here and waited patiently, and I don't think it's even been about brand loyalty at this point, I think it's just because we really wanted a specific aesthetic look in our builds...but there comes a point when you just have to decide if the aesthetics are really worth this much waiting when we don't have to wait...there are plenty of other cards and even hybrids on the market...and honestly, it really is an aesthetic thing because the cards with hybrid kits aren't significantly outperforming the other options...you can even get an fe card and still do your gaming and stuff and in 6 months, when there is plenty of stock on hybrid kits, you can buy it then....
My point is, I honestly can't believe I waited this long and I'm done waiting...I'm not even waiting to see what happens this week...either I am ordering an aio kit and an fe card, or the MSI 1080 Sea Hawk X or whatever I have to do...enough is really enough already.
And guys, there are still no spec notes released from EVGA regarding these cards...so either they aren't outperforming the other cards available so their marketing team has nothing to say (moderate likeliness,) or they're not going to be ready and pushed back again (increased likeliness), and everyone is just gonna be sitting here on this thread looking at pictures of what everyone else's pc's are doing while you wait for a certain "look" on a card that nobody but you is gonna see anyway...

Speaking of shipping...Dude check the amount of evga cards getting in stock on both amazon and newegg lately....evga ftw went in stock and out of stock for the 10th time today only and more to come....yesterday allot too. I guess they were busy making these cards and not much for the hybrid/hydrocopper heh

There's a good chance that EVGA just waited to make all the hybrids the quick-disconnect version instead of the standard version & the quick-disconnect version later as originally planned. Find it strange how all the other manufactures got their AIO's out before EVGA when EVGA is like bigger than all of them combined for Nvdia GPU sales. This would not only give them the edge but cut down on the costs as well by not having an additional SKU to deal with.

^I hope not, quick disconnects look hideous--plus I don't understand them much personally, you've got AIO's, then you've got custom loops, then you've got these half/half predator coolers...but why? (I know why, a little easier, some versatility, but still.)
I'm gonna keep waiting for this unicorn hybrid mythical card, did I forget to mention fantasy?
But I'm sure I'll miss the release because of work or sleep and at that point, I'll angrily just buy an FTW and wait for the kits...could've gotten FTW's so many times already, but who knows when those kits will come out.

I would have done this, but my card boosts to 2174MHZ if I add +102MHZ to the core if i drop it down to +100MHZ it will fall to 2151MHZ and I'm very happy/stable there. So far I haven't seen one FE card get anywhere near that even on water. So I'm pretty sure the extra power is needed to get that stable or maybe silicon lottery/conservative memory over clock. I found If I pushed my memory to 11k MHZ I was no longer able to get above 2151MHZ, it became a brick wall of sorts and would throttle at times. So watch how hard you push your memory it starts to pull away from the core I noticed, or effect it in some way. However if I leave it at or below 10800MHZ I can go above 2151MHZ stable no problems without any throttling. I settled with 2151MHZ core/10800MHZ memory and very happy with how cool it runs at those settings, but I think a FE even on water will struggle to get that or might do it but will throttle after a bit from what I've seen online. the FTW should be able to do this on water NP, as long as the card is not a trash overclocker(silicon lottery). Just my 2 cents/opinion, best luck guys.

I agree, it's either that or there having problems with how the quick disconnect system works. Plus the Hybrid kit is basically the hybrid verison, all they had to do was get FTW PCB slap a edited version of the hybrid kit cover or w/e and thats it, Yet it's taking this long. Something must be really wrong for it to take this long... I just don't understand why.

Wow, nice overclock there!! I have an FE with a Hybrid kit installed, and just like you said, I can only eek out 2075Mhz from it. The weird part is that our Heaven Benchmarks are so similar.

If you get the FTW remember to wait for the FTW kit, the ref one one already released doesn't fit 6284 & 6286 FTW's, kinda sucks as there seems to have been lots of FTW cards in stock over the last few days.

I would have done this, but my card boosts to 2174MHZ if I add +102MHZ to the core if i drop it down to +100MHZ it will fall to 2151MHZ and I'm very happy/stable there. So far I haven't seen one FE card get anywhere near that even on water. So I'm pretty sure the extra power is needed to get that stable or maybe silicon lottery/conservative memory over clock. I found If I pushed my memory to 11k MHZ I was no longer able to get above 2151MHZ, it became a brick wall of sorts and would throttle at times. So watch how hard you push your memory it starts to pull away from the core I noticed, or effect it in some way. However if I leave it at or below 10800MHZ I can go above 2151MHZ stable no problems without any throttling. I settled with 2151MHZ core/10800MHZ memory and very happy with how cool it runs at those settings, but I think a FE even on water will struggle to get that or might do it but will throttle after a bit from what I've seen online. the FTW should be able to do this on water NP, as long as the card is not a trash overclocker(silicon lottery).

I have an FE with a Hybrid kit installed, and just like you said, I can only eek out 2075Mhz from it.
The weird part is that our Heaven Benchmarks are so similar.
I think your monster oc on your delidded i7 6700k@4.9GHZ(holy crap bro!!!) might be helping your numbers a tad, but I could be wrong.

jacob just repsonded to a person twitter account stating " @DHellscream HYBRID will be FTW spec, looking like may have some stock next week in US... still working on it." glad i went ahead and just bought the ftw. incredible
