Got a bit of a weird problem. I'm uploading a copy of my Dxdiag for Battlefield troubleshooting and I noticed that the "switch to 64x" button is not present, which means my copy of Windows is 32bit. That makes absolutely no sense at all, I'm certain my hardware is meant for 64x, I'm certain I'm running on 64 bit windows, Dxdiag even shows my Operating system as 64 bit. System information also shows me running 64 bit.
Whats wrong here...?
Thanks

It's probably already running the 64-bit dxdiag. Run dxdiag, open task manager, select details tab, look for dxdiag.exe, under the platform column it should read 64 bit.

I'm a bit worried right now... I'm looking at the Task manager, Dxdiag doesn't show the version.
However when I scroll down and look at other processes... they're all running in 32-bit... Chrome, Bitdefender, Punkbuster, IAStorDataSvc (which should be a windows process).
I'm looking in System information and its showing me running a "64 bit system". Dxdiag is showing my Operating system as Windows 10 Home 64 bit....
I'm really confused...

I'm doing a bit of reading online and apparently its normal to have a lot of applications running in 32-bit, I was confused because even my flash player was 32-bit. However I'm still rather confused about DirectX, or if there's anything wrong in my situation.
Weird, so if I run Dxdiag in SysWOW64 it shows the button of "Run in 64-bit" It shows "32-bit unicode" in that situation. If I click "Run in 64-bit" it restarts and shows "64-bit unicode"
It showed "64-bit unicode" before when the button was missing, so I'm going to go ahead and assume it was already running 64-bit by default.

Wooohah When I run the one in System 32 it runs in 64-bit, When I run the one in SysWOW64 it runs as 32-bit.
You will find that very little apps are running Only x64. Most Process have both x64 and x86 back ends as you have seen in your Task Manager with *32 next to the process. You will sometimes see two program running at the same time on 64Bit the other 32Bit like the Process iexplore.exe and iexplore.exe*32 WmiPrvSE.exe and WmiPrvSE.exe*32 and so on. This is how it has been since Windows XP 64 "Whats wrong here...? " Nothing is wrong here.

Thank you :) I'm sorry, i've been having non-stop issues with computers for the past 6 months, I'm a bit paranoid about every little thing that doesn't seem right.
I was able to learn how to see what bit the programs were running at in the task manager. Most of them were running 64-bit with a few of them running 32-bit.
I suppose with DirectX diagnostic, it just happened to open 64x automatically and the instructions online were likely a bit outdated.
