Just saw this and it looks like it would be a winner for multi-display.

Great monitor, the only downside is its only 60 hz, I plan to get a 120hz or better some day.

Ive had a few Dell monitors and loved em'! But that monitor is nice Brad, but its 8ms rs!

Just give a thin bezel, and for crying out loud some American English speaking reps!

    And $1K, is abit much?

Ug, what with the match a slow switching panel with ultra-thin bezel. Leaves me scratching my head a bit. Do manufacturers understand what people want or are they just randomly throwing hardware together? At least it's daisy chainable DP 1.2. 1 cable out of the video card to connect multiple panels in series.

They just throw hardware together for the cheapest price that they can. That is a nice monitor for multi-display. Like Nite said I would wish it was 120hz because I am running 120hz monitors and it will feel nasty going back to 60hz. If they were 120hz I be all on that display though. At least it has four USB 3.0 port which is a cool plus. I only have 4 USB 2.0 ports in my monitors.

I have 3 of these new displays sitting in the boxes, I have to finish my build before I can try them out. I'll definitely post pics and keep you updated on how they perform.

Edit: Quick question, since you can daisy chain these displays. Does anyone know if it's compatible with nvidia surround using only a single display port from the graphics card?

Not sure, my knowledge is mostly on the Eyefinity side of things.

I've got three of these showing up tomorrow.
I'll update with how they perform, but I'm coming from 2x LG 1080p 60Hz TN monitors so I'll probably be impressed.

The pictures I've seen online show that the combined bezel is thinner than the bezel of one side of my current monitors O.o

UPS wouldn't leave them with my roommate, so I'll get them tonight (3/19) since I signed their attempted delivery sticker.

Less than a dotpitch .25 & 5-6 or Less RS, then I might buy a set!

do you think these can run with two 780's in sli in surround using displayport and hdmi on card 1 and either displayport or hdmi on card 2 , as in this image ( option 6 ) http://www.nvidia.com/con...80_Mar12_rev2-2way.pdf

Also, they're factory calibrated and you are given a calibration report by serial number.

    Yes, they can.
I had all three monitors running off of the single display port in my 780, and I now have them running surround using DisplayPort/DVI(HDMI conversion cable)/HDMI.

My background is mostly in using Eyefinity not Surround. I know it would work for sure with Eyefinity. A bit less sure on Surround. Nvidia is notorious in the past about what ports will and won't work with Surround.

Yeah, I switched to DisplayPort/HDMI/DVI(HDMI Converted) and it goes Surround just fine.
Oh well, hopefully NVidia will add chaining to Surround soon.

It's just a matter of them getting their act together and enabling it on a driver level. There is no hardware limitation there.

Those guys did way better than I could hope to.

I haven't seen any issues with my three monitors, including BLB, Ghosting, etc.
Literally my only issue has been an NVidia issue with no Surround on Chaining.
The factory calibrated (sRGB) preset looks identical across all three monitors on both DisplayPort and HDMI.

I will say, these are pretty heavy. They're of serious build quality.
Stand is nice and solid, lots of adjustment, quick release for the monitor, hole for cable management.
The finish is perfect. Doesn't cause graining, or detract from the color brilliance at all, but it does eliminate glare.
I only needed a 35px bezel correction when I got Surround going, which is absolutely unheard of.

I personally don't think its as good as the Samsung CF591, Its a great 60hz monitor with a 4ms response time. I've used it for a long time and its great.

You cant post links until you have 11 posts. This thread has also been dormant for 3 years. Many new monitors are put that are considered better. :-)
