How is it? According to this link http://www.guru3d.com/art...eview_benchmark,6.html playing even on "high" is out of the question. Are you guys having to drop to low? I would hope and think it could handle medium at best? They are pretty much suggesting you need a 660 as the bare minimum to play on high @1920x1200.

I was Playing Crysis 3 At max settings (Ultra and 8X MSAA) with 2 gtx 570's 1280mb and i was getting between 40-45 FPS average. But it keeps on stuttering, even at the lowest settings. Your Card will easily be able to play the Game, provided u switch on FXAA and DO NOT ENABLE MSAA. Is anyone else having the stuttering issue.

specifically this chart a 560 ti is barely doing 34 FPS on HIGH settings ....

Medium would be a safe bet for playable settings on a single 560

I never use any form of AA in games. But, just wow! I can't believe a Ti cant manage to play it on high. Is the game that much of a pig and unoptimized? Maybe drivers? Both? My card is less then 2 years old. Sheesh.

Well you can play Crysis 3 on a GTX 560 but not with all the eye candy turned on.

Just what are those settings though? I hate when they do that and don't tell you! I am guessing medium...... I never expected to play it on the highest settings. I must say. I thought maybe I could play on second to the highest settings which is high. But, that is not happening and need a new card for that. I have a xbox 360 as well. Was going to just go ahead and get it for that. But, it looks like a blurry mess. I would imagine. Even playing on medium settings at 1920x1200 should look much better and play better?

im playing on high/very high settings with 560 ti ... textures also on very high ... just shadows on low and objects to medium ... 1920x1080 .. n im getting like 50-55 fps ... which is perfect for sp ... for mp which ive already played once ... i think that fram rate should suffice ... but yea if u want 60 fps and all the eye candy that the game has to offer ... buy a 2nd card and ull be all good then

They didn't lie; it is just that everyone has different preferences and different ideas of what their minimums and recommended settings mean-- some people can't tolerate anything but max, so everything else is low-end even if it is more than you can afford.

These requirements don't meant whatever we want; even Crytek indicated a high performance recommendation of GTX680 for Crysis 3, but the resulting performance won't automatically be what you would call "high performance", could be more or less.

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].

My GTX580 plays it with everything on High, few settings on very high. 2xSAA and I get a solid 60fps.

Be sure to mess around in the Nvidia control panel, select adaptive V-sync, and performance over quality in the texture mapping. You wont notice a difference visually, but you will get a frame boost.
