Pretty impressive and no longer a need for those pesky sleeved extensions. I think this is the first major PSU company to offer colored sleeves directly. Looks slick!

It also doesn't require hours and hours (and hours) of work. A hundred bucks for the 1200w set doesn't sound too bad.

No, the AX series uses a special connection to the PSU, it's like a 6-pin or something.

Chad if you look at your PSU ,then go to the link for the cables it looks as if some would fit and some would not. Not worth it if you can only use 1/2 of them. Nice PSU,btw.

Wait.. maybe thats the new cool thing? Sleeved in heatshrink!

All joking aside, its nice that they are starting to offer it and apparently trying to cater to this audience, but needs a few more steps towards PsychoSleeve quality before Id hand over cash.

$80!? Id rather get a set from one of the guys here on these forums...
Are the Corsair kits extensions or do they plug directly into the PSU?

    Also what is this?
the 4+4 cpu cable isnt modular on any of the listed PSUs (HX1050/HX850/HX750/TX850M/TX750M/TX650M)

To me it seems they are not extensions and plug right into the psu, that is a + for me, right now i have the Bitfenix extensions that do look better but i  also have a ton of extra cable to hide.

I like the Corsair sleeved cables personally.  Too much heat-shrink?  Maybe, but easily trimmed away, if you really need it to be.. I'll be getting a set down the road for my AX850.

Exactly! I dont like having massive extensions in my case. Since the AX series is fully modular, this would be incredible for my cable management.

And as for the heat shrink, I was just going to trim some of it off. I saw on one of the forums that they are sleeved all the way down to the plug so you can just trim back some of the extra heatshrink.

I would be willing to bet EVGA's new power supplies will have sleaved cables. it was mentioned that there was a 'unique' cable system comming. top secret

It is a nice option for those without the time to bother with sleeving, but doing it yourself still looks nicer.  I have to admit the first full PSU I did made me think "why did I ever start this project?" about half way through.  Now I am used to it and enjoy sleeving.  I like that these plug in directly, I have never been a fan of the extensions.
