Very clean looking case. But so much RGB, it's a choice nominee for a pride parade.

Watch out Phanteks you have a competitor. This appears very well thought out. I'm impressed. I saw other photos here showing some nice pull out filters that look sweet too.
Note the vertical Pcie brackets double and staggered... awesome

Oh ffs Corsair.  I'm all out of desk space.  I still love my 900D but I'm sure down the road if I'm building a bad ass server, that case should fit the bill.  (Just another excuse to get one.)

Edit: Do they include a Dolley?  I can't imagine with all the components, H20 gear and fluid how much that thing would weigh.  I can barely handle my 900D fully loaded.

Yes I fully expect this case to be very heavy.

EVGA DG-87 is better idea and more beautifull than 1000D.
That's from my perspective, other people maybe have different opinion.

EVGA DG-87 in full shine is successor of old Corsair 700D and 800D.
Only is different brand, but someone to say for DG-87... This is successor of old and famous Obsidians... no doubt project would be successfull. Because later Obsidians are maybe beautifull cases with great option for cooling and SSD but they are not nicest raplacement. DH-87 could be much better.

Sorry but I totally disagree with you. The Corsair 1000D is far better than the EVGA DG-87.

I respect your opinion and I believe many people like him, but 1000D is worse Obsidian of all.

I'm intrigued by the radiator rails though I can't for the life of me figure when I'm gonna need near hot swap radiator functionality to justify those rails.

Usefulness depends on your config. For examle: if you are using a push-pull fan config plus a radiator. Sometimes this config drops too low on the motherboard, and a heat sink or memory is in your way of doing so with an otherwise static location for the radiator. Builders have found that manufacturers tend to center things up vs. shifting the rad mount away from the motherboard to make such accommodations. It also gives better access to the eight pin CPU power connector which is generally up high on the motherboard. Not to mention removing a motherboard with such conditions. The tray makes it more maintenance friendly, versatile and facilitates such a config where others don't. It may well help when bleeding and or routine cleaning too. Bottom line better to have than not.

    Nice looking case.

I hope Corsair design quality has improved, especially the smaller details that make a good case great - @ $500 its not a cheap case

I'd rate my Corsair 760T as B quality, not bad just lacking were case design was obviously compromised for lower production cost.  Biggest example would be front fan mounts block much of the air flow.

It definitely isn't perfect.  They took several short cuts.  The materials could be better.  The PSU shroud is one of many short cuts.... you basically have to get in a fight with it to take it off.  They could have used screws....

My basic 300R is fine for one lengthy video card. I have one Radeon card that is 12" long with the cooler attached.

My box has 4 drive bays which is enough, a server can handle my iTunes library with a standard EIA tack and say 45 hard disks in standard 4U boxes so a 6 pack of those can handle every song known

I respect your opinion and I believe many people like him, but 1000D is worse Obsidian of all.

With all due respect, I respect your opinion too but your fanboyism is showing.  Size wise its like comparing apples and oranges or a mid case to a large case.  This case is MASSIVE.  Think of it as two large towers in one.  It's comparable to cases like Caselabs and Mountainmods and the likes at a more affordable price.  If I didn't have the 900D which I love, I'd be eyeing the 1000D even though I don't have enough desk space for it on a 3 screen surround setup.
