I understand I need to use Precision X to control the lights on my 1080Ti FTW 3, but at the same time I have TridentZ RGB ram, an RGB MSI motherboard (Z370 Gaming M5) and a couple strips plugged into the 12v RGB header on my mobo.

I have had issues before with my TridentZ LEDs completely stopping to work when I was running 2 different RGB software controls at once.  From what I read this can corrupt the firmware on the sticks and straight up break them, or at least the RGB portion of them.  For this reason, I'm hesitant to have Precision X installed at the same time as Mystic Light.  However, Mystic Light does not recognize the FTW3, and Precision X does not recognize the ram or motherboard.  I'm thinking they might not conflict since they don't recognize each others hardware, but I'm honestly kinda scared to try.  I had to go to great lengths to get my ram working properly again last time I tried two different programs.

Does anyone have any experience controlling the LEDs from different brand ecosystems in the same system?  Is there a program that can control all of it in one place?

Right now, I've been installing Precision X, changing the LED color to what I want, uninstalling Precision X, rebooting, installing Mystic Light, then changing the rest of my LEDs.  It's kind of a pain but it's the best workaround I have without taking that risk of hurting my ram.

It can cause Issues for the GPU's i would use Nvidia LED Visualizer, I have Corsair Link for the fans and the ram and the led lights around the side of the case, i then also have Seled for the gigabyte motherboard so theres 3 all on at the same time is absolutely fine, just make sure one doesn't also control the other and your good to go, but for you i would suggest Nvidia LED Visualizer.

Wasn't LED visualizer removed from the Driver suite?  I wasn't able to find it in the normal GeForce experience area, but I found a beta stand alone version that only gives me control to turn the lights on or off, no control over the color.

Hello Cool, It doesn't come under Geforce Experience its a stand alone program i found it on Google and took me straight to Nvidia to get it, for GPU's with changeable LED's i would personally go this route to stop the program's confusing one another.

Hi guys. I'm glad to hear that there is a workaround. Because so far I only had negative feedback about it.
I will update my old rig next month (which has a Core I7 3770) but I already have a GTX 1080FTW. I'm thinking about picking an Asus motherboard with RGB stripes and aura sync. So I can sync motherboard, case fans and ram memories (G Skill Trident RGB) in a single rainbow color. I love Asus motherboards, but their videocards not so much (I find Strix kinda ugly), this is why I chose EVGA.
So, what you mean is that I can sync Evga FTW card with mobo using this NVIDIA LED visualizer? I don't mind if it is not synchronized in PC start, if it only syncs after windows boot, for me it's enough. I'm not a demanding guy.
OBS: EVGA making their videocards sync only with their own products is nonsense. Since they don't have mobos for it.

Blaise, in many countries EVGA doesn't sell mobo or has client support for it (which is my case), only officially selling GPUs and power supplies. So the only way is to have their mobo is importing. Which makes the deal a lot more expensive taking in account taxes and shipping. The other problem is technical support, which becomes a big headache if we have to use the warranty.
They for sure list their mobos in their local site here in my country, but you cannot find anyone selling it. Literally noone.
When talking about mobos, their market share out of US is tiny.

But the most crucial thing is: I wanna build an AMD setup in my next rig, and EVGA doesn't support it.

I know it can be partially my fault not looking into it before buying the 1080, but it doesn't change the fact that they don't have much support for other products out of the US. So they could have come with another solution for it.

My GTX 1080 is the most beatiful card I ever had, and I think it is the most beatiful between all 1080s as well, and I'm also totally satisfied with its performance.
So I really would like to use rainbow collor scheme with other manufacturers hardware. I'm not a programmer, but I don't think would be hard to make your software only mimics another one. I don't need one to control all. If they copy each other would be enough.

That being said, my question still remains. Can I use NVIDIA LED visualizer for it?

Cool man. If that will be the solution for me, so be it. But it was not what I was looking for unfortunately. :(
If there isn't another solution, maybe I will leave my card color white, while the whole system is changing color.

EVGA's RGB implementation is rudimentary compared to others but they also haven't embraced RGB lighting like the rest either. I use Asus Aura Sync for the motherboard and sli bridge, Corsair iCue to control my fans and led strips, Razer Synpase for my peripherals and PrecisionX for the gfx cards. I run them all together and haven't had any compatibility issues. My Corsair ram has white LED but if I get their RGB kits iCue will control them.

I don't think PrecisionX would interfere with your ram since it doesn't have options to control them but using Mystic Light, Aura Sync or RGB fusion at the same time might be a different story as your ram can be controlled by all 3.

What programs were you using that caused your issue?
