I am thinking about changing the vrm heatsink thermal paste/pad. I haven't taken out the heatsink so I'm not sure should I use the thermal pad or paste, please recommend me this. Also, the heatsink stick a bit hard to the vrm to take out, and does change thermal pad or paste for vrm heatsink make any difference? I think I haven't touched or changed anything related to vrm heatsink for 5 years.

I have a EVGA GTX 660 Ti 3G

Honestly it wouldn't really be worth it to change thermal pads for a small reduction in temperatures.
