unfortunately and as i feared (after a visit to a multi platform game store):
current games are not worth the investment on such pc's anymore...
 
most of the market is flooded with console ports.. (tons of decent indie games tho) and even much worse now.. android ports to pc if i understood correctly from the guy at the store...
 
told this fact to my GF and she made THE question: "why you pc gamers still pay for such costly  systems when pc gaming quality is fading so fast as you say?"
 
i did not had the answer and neither had the guy at the store....
 
 
 

I would say it's the monopoly that PS4 and Xbox game stores have. A lot of older titles don't drop in price on consoles like they do on PC. Also with multiplayer they want to charge you for it on consoles. As for graphics and gameplay you are stuck with them saying 30FPS is playable also while PC gamers consider 60FPS as playable.
