I have 2 EVGA RTX 2080 Black Edition cards and EVGA NVLink bridge 3 slot. I can change the colour of the cards no problem but the bridge won't change, I can turn the led off but that's it. I've also tried using LED Sync but that does not work either. I'm using Precision X1 v0.3.11.0 The Firmware on the cards is 49.49.76 Using windows 10 pro 64

Welcome to the Forum. Exit out of PX1 wait 1 minute and then start it back up and see if you can change it. SLI Must be enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Change the Color the Click Apply and then Click Save.

Still not working, although SLI was already enabled.

Most likely a PX1 bug. Just gotta wait until EVGA fixes it.

I'd try some older versions of the software to see if one might allow you to change the color.

Is your NVlink green color or there is no color at all?

It is green, I can set it to off but nothing else works. If I set it any colour its just green.

I can change to Color on mine but it is not saving after a reboot. I have to start PX1 to set the Color Back.

On another topic, why did you buy 2x 2080 instead of one 2080Ti?

For what it's worth, I also have an EVGA NVLink on my 2x 2080 Ti FE's which are under EVGA Hydro Coppers. The Hydro Copper LED control works fine with LED Sync. But PX1 crashes when I try to adjust the LEDs. The NVLink LEDs do not work under any condition. I suspect its because my cards are not EVGA.

Are you using PX1 or LED Sync? I have removed LED Sync and no longer install it. Also I do not have PX1 startup with the OS and just wait for a Desktop to start it up when needed. You may need to run PX1 as Run as administrator to work now with the Newer Divers and Security that has been added. But this is true "I suspect its because my cards are not EVGA."

how do you safely remove the RGB from the EVGA NvLink PCB? i want to because mine will not turn off or change, just stays green so i'd rather just remove it but i dont want to damage the PCB in the process

oh, i meant like remove the RGB panel from the PCB like user bcavnaugh, i tried changing the color, turning the color off, etc on precision x1 and i had no success whatsoever, so i was hoping to just remove the RGB panel from the actual PCB completely.

You'll most likely just have to unsolder the led components after removing the bridge cover.

Nope - No unsoldering -->J ust unplug the LED after removing the cover - 5 screws on back Be careful that small tan resister is very close to the back of the socket .... I had to disassemble my NVLink to check & take the photo
