Yeap I kinda hoped so too but I guess from a business standpoint its easier for them to just mass produce one type of shroud rather than multiple skus.

People.. Seriously.. They have already said constantly MID November... It is not mid November lol. Be patient. You are getting a free shroud upgrade.. Why so impatient?
For those that will inevitably say "I am waiting to install my card..." don't... It takes less than a minute to remove the pc I retaining screws and pull the card... Use your card until the shroud arrives. It will take only a few screws to out the shroud on, taking maybe 5 more minutes.
This shroud makes the Hybrid compatible with every card, without having to worry if your Titan X has a 980 shroud... People are now complaining because the card won't have the wrong label?
For those that refuse to read a few posts... If you bought the Hybrid separate from the card, the receipt for the Hybrid matters.. The shroud is for the Hybrid, not the card specifically. If you bought the Hybrid Card (preinstalled) use that receipt.. If your card came without the Hybrid, do not use that receipt for this promotion.
This is all explained multiple times through this one thread. It takes only a few seconds to find answers that have been answers more than a few times.
Sorry if I seem frustrated, but the lack of looking for the answer before asking a question is astounding.

too bad I'm about to ship my hybrid kit back to evga for warranty :( pump up and quit on me. hopefully I'll get it all around the same time! Otherwise I'll be here waiting.......

This is B.S. I just received my cards and upon open them, I had checked to see if this is still offer, and Yes. so I opened them up 10 minutes later to registered and it said Promotion is Closed. What the hell, the reason I picked them was because the better looking shroud instead of the stock. Wow, I have been ***** twice, once from N***** and now this, it will cost me 210.00 restock to return them.

Calm down, and email through a support ticket... It's not that hard, just go to EVGA.Com/support and either call or email and speak to them.. Posting this doesn't help and getting angry only frustrates you. Here, 24/7 tech support by phone in the US (+1 305-477-1252) Or through a contact ticket: http://www.evga.com/about/contactus/Give them a chance before you blow a gasket. P.S. If they can help you, please let us know, if not, feel free to blow your gasket.. Usually they are keen on keeping customers happy.

Glad to see a smiley in your most recent post. Hopefully they can get everything squared away. This registration form has been throwing errors for a lot of people at random.. I don't know anything about Web page coding and fixing this stuff, or I would try to help, lol.

Well the promotion is officially over according to EVGA Faceoff as of 30-40 minutes ago. After explaining to the customer service that it wasn't posted in a timely fashion that resulted me opening up the 2 box to register the SN# only to be notified Promotion is Closed last night. Also I found out that the SN# is on the side of the Black Box....  therefore I will have to cough up 210.00 restocking fees to NEW EGG to return the product. What an idiot!!! Hopefully they may sell the shroud later, who knows, that will tempt me to keep them, they sure look ugly comparing to my 2 980ti classified.

Yeah, this sucks. I bought my cards on Oct 12th but due to work I haven't been home in over 2 weeks, so I just got a chance to register my card and was going to sign up for the new shroud and find out it's closed. Hopefully Jacob can stop by and tell us whether they will reopen it or what the deal is.

I for one complained, due to the fact that EVGA Face Off webpage was not timely display the Promotion is no longer offer, I found out after I had registered my 2 hybrids and called them and the person who assisted me check and said he was not aware, and to check back. I checked and double checked their web page prior to registering, and they failed to update it in a timely fashion bottom line. However, I'm over it now because sooner or later they will sale the shroud to replace the fugly stock one, but the fact still applied they fail to post it till the very next mid-day. Yet, I feel for Stick435 not able to get it in on time, who knows he might have been serving the country for that matter and was unable to be home to register his product. And if people want to express their disappointment SO BE IT. It's a free country last I checked.

Apparently, they are going to mess around with me as well. Registered my card two days ago. Now the status says "promotion closed." Of course there won't be any email explaining anything or apologizing for why they wasted my time (I did get the email saying to await further instructions). If this is the case, they lost a long time customer as this is probably my fourth EVGA card (I can still return this card no questions asked)... but I have little patience for companies who act this way.

Aw man... I just ordered a 980Ti hybrid yesterday and I guess I missed out on this... This is gonna be my first high-end EVGA card. I had an EVGA 750SC that I got for PhysX, but I gave that to my buddy since he was using on-board Intel.
I don't suppose there's any chance of me getting in on this shroud action somehow...?

They did apologized from the customer service personnel to the manager (miscommunication) he claimed, however it's not the customer service people's fault I hold the higher up accountable, I also ask that in the future use a real time program to update their count against their free stuff inventory, and to properly to update their webpage accordingly. I told them it was misleading to offer free stuff yet zero in stock, sure you can return the items (unopened) and so forth but the end of the day that dude in charge of the Promotion DROP THE BALL! Just wait till they sell them online or return them. I'm just raising the issue to EVGA so they can be aware of what happened and not to repeat, we are all consumer we should stick together I say.

I missed this promotion by a hair too. Just got my 980Ti Hybrid today to replace my SLI 970s, loving it so far.

Damn, I just missed out on this promotion too. I saw that it was going on about a week ago but my birthday is on the 8th (the card actually comes tomorrow but alas) and the promotion ended. I was hoping it would last just a few more days to grab it. Guess I can only hope they go on sale sometime soon or maybe they continue the promotion once more stock is available. I really like the look over the stock hybrid cooler. Not quite the birthday gift I was hoping for  but if the card itself performs as I hope at least it's a HUGE improvement over what I'm using now (GTX 285 2GB)

Hi all
Just order me a 980ti hybrid and would love the new shroud as it will go with my black and white colour theme ...gold not too good lol.
Ordered from Overclockers UK so should have it monday.
Will this free shroud upgrade be available again in near future or will that be a no no....or will it be availbale to buy as really want one of these new shrouds.....nobody else seems to make a hybrid 980ti with white or silver shrouds ...i think 1 other does but not as good as the evga hybrid ...lol
Any help most appreciated.
