The 980ti hybrid cooler will work with the titan x correct ? I already ordered the GTX LED shroud so i got that covered . The GTX 980 , 980ti , titan x all use the same hybrid components other than the shrouds correct ?  

The shroud is exactly the same for all three :-)

I don't think he is asking about the shroud, he said he ordered the LED shroud.  I think he wants to know if he can buy and fit a 980Ti hybrid cooler kit with his Titan X.

The cooler and the shroud are the same across all three cards. The 970 is the only one different, and that is only the shroud.

The only difference across the 980/980ti/ and titan x is the lettering on the original shroud. The LED shroud doesn't have any difference and the cooler doesn't have any differences.

Well I'm putting together the hybrid kit on my Titan x and noticed I did not get the rubber caps **** !!! How do I go about getting these ? I bought the 980ti hybrid kit from newegg and I'm not about to take it all apart and send it back just two get another kit and hope it comes with the rubber caps !

and, what are the rubber caps you speak of?

Has the top 980Ti the only fan exhausting air? Is the air it is getting already "warm"?
Guess the rubber caps are the ones on the side of the shroud.

It definitely should not be getting hot to the touch.

It may see a little dumb, but try putting the fan on the inside, and push the air through the radiator rather than pull it through.

And, make sure your fan is actually working and it isn't pinned down or stopped.

It definitely should not be getting hot to the touch.

i can only do pull in my case if i want the rad to have the reservoir on the bottom. i even rma'd one of my hybrid kits thinking the pump was bad since i cannot touch the res for more then a second without burning my hand. when i have free time, i will swap the 2 cards and see if the problem follows the top card or if its a problem in the top spot because of heat.
 
i am confused because i had a 295x2 before this setup. and i dont ever remember the tubes, res or rad getting this hot even though it was cooling down dual GPU's and OC'd. 
 
idle temps are around:
top card = 40
bottom card = 30
 
all these temps are with noctua nf-f12 fans that are running around 70% direct from Mobo header. if i push the fans to 100% (and my side intake fan to 100%) i can get the top card down to 67 degrees. but the tubes and rad are still hot to the touch.

I noticed a few months back that was available in the states , so contacted them but won't ship to the UK :-(

I already have one fitted to my 980ti hybrid , but now have a standard 980ti and wanted to fit one to that so it matches ...even though its not a hybrid ....but will fit as asked them ( they never thought of doing what i want to do lol ) ...but said good idea lol
 
Only other thing i can do if remove shroud and sand down the green logo till the white comes through ( on youtube ) ...but guessing in invalidate the warranty ?

 I was suggesting you could get someone in the US to purchase it for you and then have them ship it to you in the UK.  Similar to what they do on r/Buildapcproxy.  Costs a little more in shipping and may take a little longer, but you get you're matching shroud.
