Yep, I was a P-3C pilot once upon a time. Primarily deployed to the northern Atlantic.
And good eye, not a lot of people would recognize the silhouette.

Nice, a little before my time, I was there for training in 2001. I deployed with VP 26 out of Brunswick, Maine, I finished my service in Norfolk.

Always good to meet a fellow sailor, fly Navy!

Hey, so my card was doing the exact same thing. I sent it for RMA last week Thursday and got notification today that they’re shipping it out.

That's greats! Let me know how it works out for you. 
Also, let me know if you get a new card or a refurbished unit.

Update:
I received the SN for the card that is being shipped to me. 
The SN is "lower" than the card I have now. 
So my question is, are SNs issued sequentially meaning that I ma receiving an "older" card? 
 
And if so, are the chances greater that the card I will receive is a refurbished model? 
What have peoples experiences been with RMAs? 
I had to RMA my FTW3, but EVGA sent me a new in box card.
 
I would prefer to get a new in box card, vice a refurb. Is there any way to tell via the SN?

Got my card just now. It’s a refurbished unit. The screen was scratched, some bent fins, the braided cover on one of the tubes was loose. Not really happy with getting this back so far. I’m testing it to see how it runs

I did, my memory OC is better by a lot. Core is about the same. The card really looks like crap though. I’d be willing to bet they’d ding me if I tried to RMA the card in the condition they sent it to me.

Can you post some pics? 
I would still reach out, see what they say at least. 
It is tough to just swallow a less than perfect card after having a kidney removed and auctioned off on the black market to purchase a Kingpin. 
 
I guess if the board I receive is in really bad shape, I can just keep my buzzing card and hope its the pump.

Highly likely to be that. Mine does the same thing with it being loudest when I shove over 700w into it. Sometimes if I cold boot after flogging it for a while it does it until I get into windows then stops, presumably as the old classified settings get overwritten. By "same thing" I mean the sound is identical to what is in the clips in this thread. It does seem strange that it's doing it at idle though, maybe transient power spikes? But even then that would be not good either...

Got my GPU today, I'll be swapping in The replacement card and seeing how it does primarily checking to see if the buzzing sound is gone. Then also to see how it overclocks and performs. I'll post back with results.

I can't speak with authority about condition RMA replacements arrive in big picture wise but I will say this about my personal experience with two RMAd motherboards: They arrived in condition I personally call mixture of unacceptable/disgusting.

That is the one quality control thing that bothers / baffles me, I could see have a scratch or something or other installing uninstalling harm , but just general FUNKY ugliness makes me wonder , are the repair people,  hoarders with 974 cats , I would expect it to look at least like a competent person went through this PCB before they sent it out again,  I have not had to RMA anything so far k.o.w... but that would suck, unless it like Port Royal'd 16k in room temp air.. j.s.

Got my replacement card installed and so far it is silent. I need to run some benches, but glad to have it running.
