The Logitech "nano" wireless receiver is a proprietary receiver designed to work specifically with the Logitech wireless device it is sold with and is not designed to be configurable to connect to other devices. The chances of using it to connect to a Bluetooth device is close to 0%. Buy a similar-looking USB Bluetooth adapter for less than $20.

This ^^^

There does exist Logitech Unifying Software that lets you use up to six different devices from one nano-reciever like your Trackball has, but it's only for compatible mouse/keyboard..Won't do you any good though, just thought I'd mention it.

Also realize that you can connect many devices to one USB port if necessary by using a USB hub/splitter like those found here and other places.

One thing that I've noticed is that with some cheaper Bluetooth headphones/transmitters when used with a PC there is a very noticeable delay between the screen and sound...  I'd recommend this dongle http://www.amazon.com/Azio-Micro-Bluetooth-Adapter-BTD-V401/dp/B00JAZGSXY and also making sure you get headphones that support the aptX profile.  There is a pretty big difference in sound quality in my experience.

+1. If the USB dongle has that orange star seen in the picture then it is a Unifying receiver. I have connected many different Logitech devices to those receivers including headsets, mice, keyboards, game controllers and even PS3 and PS4 controllers.

I believe you can have up to 7 devices on one dongle.
