Well I have tried the xoc bios and I still can’t run more than 1.08v. This will only allow me to clock to 2075. Very annoying as the temps are so cool.

Must be something specific to your system or card as I hit the 1.093v on my 1080ti FTW3 on water. What is "Your Card"? If it is just an normal 1080ti FTW3 like the rest of us then your clocking higher then I am with less voltage. You are getting more then the guaranteed base boost of an Kingpin card, be happy.

I’m using evga sc2 card on water. It’s boost clocking to 2000 at 1.06v (stock bios and clock).
I have tried kingpin, ftw3, strix xoc bios and the power limit remains the same on all.

I have a feeling this card is hardware capped now.

If you follow my oc guide you should be able to hit the max voltage without any issues.

So you used the Kingpin FTW3 bios on your SC2 card?

Has anyone taken the latest EVGA 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Bios and flashed their 1080 Ti FTW3 Air cooled card yet? If so did you encounter any problems? What was your experience?

If you mean the 86.02.39.01.91 bios for the 1080ti FTW3 supplied by Kingpin - yes and it works great

Or do you mean the original BIOS for the actual 1080ti Kingpin Card?

I'm referring to the original bios of the actual 1080 Ti Kingpin being flashed to an EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Has anyone done this before?

With no answer, I would assume no on has flashed their 1080 Ti FTW3 with the 1080 Ti KingPin bios. They are virtually the same card but the KingPin has the higher clock speeds and better cooper cooling.

I would go and watch the Buildzoid tear downs on GN of both the 1080ti FTW3 and the Kingpin cards and then try to say they are the same - not.

Well, that clears the air now. No one is going to flash their 1080 Ti FTW3 to the KingPin's 1080 Ti BIOS. I have seen back in the day someone flash their 5800 Series card to a 5900 Ultra. That was on a much older GPU architecture.

The card has 2 bios. Copy the slave bios to back it up and flash the 2nd bios (slave) with the kingpin bios and see what happens.

If no good swap back to the master and boot and flip the bios switch to the slave and re flash with the ftw3 slave bios right? Not sure but how else would one flash the 2nd bios if its faulty?

Please report back.

No point in swapping the bios. I have tried so many now and the voltage limitation remains the same throughout. The overvolt custom curve is the best way, I did this with stock bios and it’s got me the best performance to date.

I recently did the hybrid kit on my FTW3 and on the stock slave bios with the 117% fix my voltages were still fluctuating and my clock speeds were always downclocking. Was very annoying. So I flashed the strixOC bios and it holds constant voltage where every I put it. It's amazing. Are you using MSI afterburner and making a custom curve? All I do and open the curve plot, select the plot point at 1.093v and add my overclock. It holds it no matter what temp the gpu is at. My card is voltage sensitive and doesn't gain any core mhz with added voltage. My max stable OC is +78mhz core and +800mhz memory.

The issue with just saying you used a +78mhz OC on the core is that the final speed with +78 could be 2000mhz or 2100mhz - it all depends on what the boost top speed is that you are applying the +78 too. Would be better off reporting what the actual final speeds are.
Depending on temp and load my water cooled 1080ti FTW3 with the bios linked in the 1080ti FTW3 Slave Bios thread (See the screen shots I posted above with final bios version and peak supported wattage) my card runs 2025-2050mhz with a +52mhz setting. Which seems to be the norm for a water cooled 1080ti FTW3 with a wide range of +*** numbers

I'm sorry, I'm running 2076mhz@1.093v and 6300mhz memory
