Right now I have an Antec 1200 and a cooler master hyper 212 Evo jutting out of it. I tried installing a 980 ti hybrid and realized that it's not gonna fit anywhere. Eventually I plan on installing two in SLI.

I'm assuming the path of least resistance is to upgrade. At this point, I might as well go all out and get a corsair H110 while I'm at it too.

What would be the best case to accommodate a H110 and two hybrids, and I suppose also leave room to move everything to a single loop if I decide that later?

Obv this is my first time dealing with water cooling so I'm a bit in the dark

Edit: the NZXT 820 seems like it would work? Or is that overkill?

I really like the Corsair air 540. It has been one of the best cases to deal with airflow and handed 2 of my 970 sscs wit stock fan ramps at about 75 and 78 degrees c. You will need to replace the fans that come with it as they are terrible and 2 of them made grinding noises from the bearing out of the box. I run a GTX 980ti in it now though with about 73 degrees with fans on very low speed and stock fan profile on the card. My cpu is a 4790k at 1.2 volts and I never go above 65 degree under prime 95 and a noctua air cooler. Under normal game load I never go above 56 on the cpu and 73 on the gpu with low fan speeds. I would suggest noctua fans for the case as well, though the fans cost more than the case (though should last a long time).

It has been one of the best cases to deal with cable management as well, and since it is huge, it is easy to install stuff. I can actually remove and install my cooler with the mobo being in the case with ease.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm just not sure if that can handle 2 980 ti hybrids. I guess one in the front and one in the back and the h110 on top?

you could do 2 hybrid in front blowing out, h110 top blowing out, a rear 140 blowing in as well as a front 120 blowing in. or what you said with all rads blowing out and 2 fans in from front. Also nzxt is a good case maker. Also the blackhawk ultra would work, but is huge has bad fans.

I would suggest the all fans on the rear of your case pointed "out", rather than in. The heat from your GPU(s) will rise, and that air is going to go back in your case. I suggest all fans from the front point inwards, and all the fans in the rear (including the rads/AIO, and the ones on top of your case) pointed out. this creates a "draft" (normally called the push/pull), and it's pretty much the most affective means for air. I don't want to preach, you're probably already know it. I wanted to state this because the mention of pointing the rear 140mm fan "inward" really bothered me.
Mount the hybrid on the rear, facing outwards. If you want, mount the 2nd one on top, but make it face outwards (air pointed out). Mount all fans on front facing inwards, so you have maximum airflow.

+1 on fan direction and airflow.

I have an Antec 1200 and it's a great airflow case but no room for custom water loops or hybrids. My main machine now is in a 780T and I'm in a blissful state. Tons of room for a custom loop or lots of directions to go with installing hybrid coolers.

If someone look nice and high quality case for multi Hybrid graphic cards should look Lian-Li PC-X510.
Case is excellent for 2-3 120mm radiators for Hybrid cooler and have space for different AIO systems with 120 or 240mm radiators.
Lian-Li present him on computex and it's for people who like something little different than standard case.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was settling on the phantom 820 after reading your suggestions, but then I saw the price of the thermaltake x9. Thanks for making it a hard decision again!

I decided to go with the Phanteks Enthoo Primo Ultimate(phew). It has plenty of space for the AIO coolers and looks pretty good imo. I have 2 x 980 Ti Hybrid coolers on order, and hopefully I should have them by mid-September.
I basically ordered a whole new system, apart from my current SC 980 Ti's and my SSD's. So I'll get to play around with that next week, should be fun.

I have the H110i GT up top, the hybrid 120mm for the rear and you could always run another hybrid in the front.

Yeah I noticed they were in-stock here on the EVGA website, I would have ordered 2 but unfortunately they don't ship to Australia. No store here is has even listed them AFAIK, so the wait for Amazon continues...

Only problem to overcome with the v71 is it's a long way to the front.  I had to use a piece from another case I have, TT Core X9, to use as a bracket to move the fans in closer.

It does have hard drive cages that I took out that can be used to mount fans on though with some drilling of holes.  I may do that at some point.

    I like the Corsair 780T.

Here's mine with UV Lights and a Corsair H110i GT push/pull exhaust up top and two Hybrid radiators up front in push/pull intake:

    And with UV Lights off:

Also if anyone is wondering, the lighted up memory are 32GB of Avexir DDR3 Raidens with Plasma tubes.  Here they are in action: https://www.youtube.com/w...Q&feature=youtu.be

Got 2 of mine mounted on an Enthoo Pro, just use fans as spacers if the tubes run out of length.

It's amazing the way people find different ways to get different setups to work. I love it.

Which fans did you install in the front (outside the case)? Is this not a problem with the push/pull combination from the hybrid radiator?
Why you didn't installed both radiator's in the middle of the case (there is also a space for radiators)?

What are the temp's of both cards?

They look to be 200mm fans

The push/pull would move more air than supplied by the 200s, the large outside fan probably helps cool the case as the rads do not completely block them

Man, I would have suggested the VERY cool Thor II from Newegg.
An excellent case, made even better with your own fans, with plenty of room and room to grow, plus its pretty cheap, especially when compared to TT and Lian Li.

Check out the Thermaltake Core v71.

I have the H110i GT up top, the hybrid 120mm for the rear and you could always run another hybrid in the front.

Only problem to overcome with the v71 is it's a long way to the front.  I had to use a piece from another case I have, TT Core X9, to use as a bracket to move the fans in closer.

    After:

Which fans did you install in the front (outside the case)? Is this not a problem with the push/pull combination from the hybrid radiator?
Why you didn't installed both radiator's in the middle of the case (there is also a space for radiators)?

What are the temp's of both cards?

This thread is 3 years old by the way. So long as the air flow is in one direction then that is fine.

Slow Day, this page tool 86 Seconds to load (IE 11). But it is still a 3 Year Old Thread
Seems it is easer to Post in an Old Threads than to Create a New Thread, Year of the Hijackers
