Hi,
I have two evga gtx 690 (quad) and I also had(have) problems with low scores in 3dmark 11 and vantage everytime I change graphic drivers. What fixes it for me is to uninstall  futuremark, delete all futuremark folders in windows, and delete all futuremark folders from registry;you will see them under software in Hkey lm,Cu,.Also under hkey classes  delete 3dmark 11 results.I uninstall precision 304 completely,no save settings.I reboot ,run crap cleaner files and registry cleaner sections.Reboot (to get rid of invalid reg items) install 3dmark11 103,reboot (dont run benchmark, yet) and then reinstall and set up precision.I hope this helps;it works for me.And I never had this problem untill x79,690gtx and 306 and later graphic drivers.

I believe that I have solved the issue!  Spoke with maniacvvv today and he clued me into some of the inner working of 3DMark 11.  I was not aware of the Scan System Info software that runs in the background during the benchmark.  Prior to speaking with him, I tried a suggestion made by ralph55 and uninstalled 3DMark 11 and cleaned-out the registry of any Futuremark entries.
So when I reinstalled 3DMark11 it wouldn't run as the Scan System Info software wouldn't start.  More research....downloaded the newest version of "that" software and installed it and now my scores are:

P14570
Graphics Score
17473
Physics Score
10255
Combined Score
9025
...next step...overclocking!
Thanks to all that offered help and suggestions! You guys are great!
